Reception staff were great and waiting time was reasonable. However, the doctor didn’t know what PrEP is (he asked me if I was on any medication so I mentioned it) and thought, even after I explained to him what PrEP is, that I was HIV positive and therefore immunosuppressed. This means he’s not only not very well-informed, but he’s also not a great listener.

Always had very good care, the doctors are attentive and helpful, never condescending or dismissive.

This clinic has really gone down hill since moving to its current premises. Dr. Bourke decided it was appropriate to make snide comments about my personal life. I felt so humiliated leaving this practice, the GP was so rude and upon leaving she called me a different name. AVOID IF POSSIBLE.

I see Alphington Medical Centre doctors provide me excellent explanation to the medical condition listens and answers questions and spends appropriate amount of time with the patient. Everything you want and need when you are sick!

Had a wonderful experience the first time I visited. Unfortunately not the second time. Made an appointment, and was told at the end of the appointment that I would be charged for a long appointment. The consultation took 25 minutes. If there was such a policy that I would be charged double if my appointment ran over, I wish I had been informed beforehand instead of being told at the end, like a car repair estimate gone wrong.

I'm not on Medicare and my insurance doesn't cover GP visits so it would have been nice to be warned. $130 for 25 minutes. After the doctor mentioned she was going to charge me extra, she added, "you've got private insurance? " I said I did, but it only covered hospital visits. Guess the $130 is coming out of my bank account then.

I am a patient of Dr. Yashoda Selvarajah. She has such a warm mannerism and is a very highly qualified GP. I would highly recommend her to anyone. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help.

This place is immaculately operated. The ladies at the front desk were polite and answered questions I had regarding my insurance. I was seen quickly by a nurse, who was friendly and efficient. Impressively quick, efficient and attentive service. Great doctor, clean and modern facilities.

Very disappointing experience. Doctor didn't listen to my own feedback regarding previous experiences or ask about chronic health condition. Simply read online information and didn't explain why he was prescribing a different medication to what had worked previously. I was very frustrated as it was a complete waste of time and money and did nothing to help resolve my health issue.
