Second time using their services.
They always call back when messages are left.
Proactive with the banks, broker and agents.
Their emails are very clear and attachments are in a logical order.
Highly recommend.

I would not recommend Allied for conveyancing. I echo the review of 5 days ago by Lisa Mott in saying that they are uncommunicative and unresponsive. I've left messages and emails and they are never returned.

We have two settlements with them within the week, and I have no idea what the status is or if they will even go ahead.

We had asked for our settlement to be brought forward twice, and the dates came and went with no action and no communication.

I took the time to give constructive feedback over the phone and detailed the lack of communication and pro-activity.

Needless to say it has gone unheeded.

At times the Real Estate agent has even called me in frustration with lack of progress.

I was very dissapointed with Allied. Putting it down to "busy times" is not an excuse for a Conveyancer to not contact me that they could not do a task related to my selling and purchase of a property. Waiting days to hear from their Conveyancer after a teary phone call, is not acceptable. I had to engage a new conveyancer urgently! Who exchanged on our property within an hour.

Smooth reliable and friendly service, Joel looked after the purchase of a new home and selling of ours would highly recommend.

I used Allied to both sell my home and then purchase another. My settlement was in 14 days and posed no problems for the efficient team at Allied. Karen was amazing to deal with and I cannot speak highly enough of the service she delivers.

Communication is great, the explanations are clear and they really deliver something that is beyond expectations. The settlement for my newly purchased home was short (which can be a headache for all involved) but for me it was a seamless, stress-free experience. Excellent service. I don't normally review businesses but my recent dealings with Allied justified a comment. There were several people in the process but each was helpful and very pleasant to deal with. I have sold several times previously with other firms but Allied made it personable and well explained. I forgot to ask the price when engaging but the final bill certainly didn't shock. Well done.

Make sure you know what the sundries
costs are from the start, if you ask for
them to be itemised when you get your
Invoice you will be wasting your time as
this will not be done and they can work
out to be very expensive.

RIPPED OFF! BAD SERVICE!

Completely misleading about fees and charges!
I the customer have asked many times verbally and via email for upfront FIXED fees and charges.

I would like to send a complaint about James Taylor and to the owner Jeremy Taylor, (Probably nothing will happen internally! As they would appear that they are relatives)

When I first contacted Allied Lawyers & Conveyancing, I asked James very simply for a fixed agreement price for my accountant.

In writing he reply with agreement that $852.50 was the total outlay, I will send the email.

During the 30 day settlement, James did not advising me that there were new changes for our original fixed agreement of $852.50 which I have in writing.

From the start I asked very clearly! For James to provide a fixed price for the conveyancing charges at $852.50
as he had all the facts from the start regarding my purchase in full details provided by email.

I have bought 10 houses now with Allied and this will be my last.

I completely inconvenienced and outrage about the unauthorized charges for $175 for a caveat? Why would I need a caveat for a 30 day settlement.

Also there are other charges for:
You have $90,000 of my cleared funds, which you are earning daily interest.
Trust account cheques $ 100
Trust Account cheques $160
special water meter $ 84.90 (seriously I can obtain this myself)

$519.90 over charge
I will be taking this further as that is completely ridiculous.
I will most definitely will be telling all my family and friends what trickery has been played.

This is not about money! Its about the principle!
I asked for a clear outline of fee's to be prepared.

Very, Very hard to get any answers, Very, Very hard to get them to return your calls. Let one of the staff know this her reply was who the F-k do i think i am talking to. Ask for manager to call me back, he did (lucky i was sitting) told him how i was spoken to his reply was basically that if i was rude to her she is entitled to speak to me in that way, the problem is i was not rude at all.just stating a fact. They have a poor service

Easy 5 stars. This is the fourth time i've bought a house and used allied, 3 of those times there were absolutely no issues at all and the fourth time the bank made things difficult however allied assisted in ensuring the issue was rectified and hence the reason behind writing my review.
Recommended. 10/10 For customer service

I recently conveyed the purchase of a home with the assistance of Allied Lawyers and they were very good. Excellent in fact, which is the reason for this review. Very pleasant from the first contact and did everything asked of them. Particular thanks to the staff at the Frankston office. It's nice to get what you paid for and from experienced operators.
