Alexander Theatre

Stunning Theater! I haven't been here for 20 years, love the new fit out. Seats are lovely and stage looks fantastic and sounds great.

My wife and I had our 50th wedding anniversary here and we had a positively splendid experience to be sure! The seats were very comfortable, I suffer from sciatica due to a pinched L5 nerve, rheumatoid arthritis, heart disease,
and a resulting barely manageable bad attitude to poor seating in theatres. I am so pleased with the new seating, here having survived 3 hour straight in them, I don't know anywhere that has orthopaedic quality seats, my back and hemorrhoids thank you. The venue looks amazing and all the staff were absolutely delightful.

Overall though, I must say the thing that stood out the most was the undeniably fantastic efforts of the sound technician, Mark. You can tell he knows his way around a DiGiCo SD9 because the mix was killer. Homeboy clearly has a great ear (and even better chops!)

The front row is very very close to the front, nonetheless it was good to go back to this theatre after many many years.

Communication from the production regarding parking & facilities was spot on & much appreciated.

Nice and surprisingly large theatre. The seats are comfortable and there is a bar to get snacks and drinks (inc.alcohol) from. Only thing I'm not sure about is if it is wheelchair accessable as I only saw stairs to be able to get into the theatre.
