Alamanda Cafe & Bistro

We enjoy having breakfast at Alamanda Cafe, service is friendly and despite having a large group of 15+, our food comes out fast and hot.
Highly recommend.

Was recommended this place by a friend but was disappointed. Had a table of four that had a 5 minute wait between each item that came out despite ordering at the same time. Chicken Parma was burnt to a crisp and tough as a leather shoe.

Visited this cafe today with my family. Sat outside in the nice courtyard area. This cafe is the type to order at the counter, take a number and they will serve you at your table. Service was relatively fast considering how busy it was. Kids enjoyed the cheese toasties and chips. Hubby and I enjoyed a club sandwich each. We also had some shortbread cookies for the kids but found them a bit thick and hard for their liking as well as a jelly cake and a lemon slice. Parking is available in the carpark to the side and untimed. There is also the option of walking around the boardwalk/wetlands to the other side which contains two playgrounds for kids.

A day visit to Alamanda Cafe & Bistro was on 19/11/2023, our close family friend, SREE owns the cafe there. The ambience was good and the location was fantastic. The cuisine is diverse and wide. We placed an order for brunch, which included a Korean chicken burger and a Caprese salad avocado with iced mocha and chai latte. The servers were truly kind and prompt in delivering the order. The food is amazing and tasty.

My partner and I found this hidden gem just a short walk from our place in point cook. The weather was perfect for a walk and we chose an outdoor table to eat and admire the view. But the food! OMG IT PURE HEAVEN! Poached egg with halloumi and potato and I made my own breakfast! There was nothing we could complain about and the servings were ample. Set against a lake as a backdrop it's almost like paradise I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family for sure

Haven't eaten here for years. Food took a while to be served. Came out before our drinks. Sat outside but table was wet. Needs to be cleaned outside a bit. Was not the best feeling environment.
Breakfast was ok. Had the smashed avo. The knife was a bit blunt and the toast very hard to cut through. I could hardly cut the tomato. Need a bit more work on the food service and outside cleanliness. Overall the meal tasted nice though.

I have been coming here for years and the food and coffee have always been good. There must have been a change in ownership or something? This would be the worst breakfast I've ever had! The plate had oil all over it and i had to mop it up with the napkin, I asked for a side plate as the food was piled onto a small plate, so you couldn't move anything around without it falling off onto the table. The bread was stale and the scrambled eggs were firm, oily and tasteless. The bacon was rock hard and looked/felt like it had been in an oven for hours. The hash browns were oily and overcooked and had broken ends on both of them, i didn't even try to finish any of the breakfast. I thought at least the coffee would be good, but no it was bitter. This place used to be full for breakfast every day, i knew something was off when it was empty at 9 am on a Wednesday. I had to go to Maccas as i was still hungry, sad when a macMuffin is preferable to a cafe breakfast.

Had an amazing time with my German Shepherd puppy last time we went to Alamanda Cafe & Bistro for brunch. I personally enjoyed my parma and Tiger had two servings of their #doggyccino! We enjoyed it a lot that we went back today with another family along with their German Shepherd puppy. Thank you Alamanda Cafe & Bistro for having a dog-friendly outdoor area and for your amazing customer service. The ambience and food are fantastic

Messed up our food twice. Coffees came to us lukewarm so were cold. Had a hair in my food, can’t even see the water properly unless you are outside because they have things blocking the view. A rip off for $, food was average. Won’t be back.

Pretty good breakfast and coffee, in a pleasant & relaxed setting. All the elements in the Alamanda Breakfast were as good as expected from a good cafe. The food did take a while to come out from the kitchen though.

This is a wonderful place to pop in for a great coffee.staff are always greet you with a smile and warm welcome. Muffins are always fresh and best part is on my school run I call up place a coffee order and on the way back to start my day I have a smile with a hot coffee and Muffin. Now what more can anyone wish for.

Keep up the great work, and I would never go anywhere else.

The staff are really nice and the owners are very hands-on! The wild barramundi burger that I had was splendid and they were very accommodating by swapping the chips for some greens. Will definitely come back!

My go-to cafe close to home. Polite and helpful staff, delicious menu and great drinks! Set on a pretty lake with bird wildlife, just a calm vibe for a quick getaway

Very relaxing environment with beautiful view. Also, staff/management are very welcoming and professional and their coffee is the plus point.

Really good cafe. We really enjoyed our coffe and breakfast. Sandwiches and big breakfast were really yum. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommended place.

Beautiful place to have an early morning breakfast the scenery is gorgeous while you relax waiting for your order.
