Al is amazing! From the very first interaction via email to discuss booking in a session to the final one with my photos I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Al takes the time to make sure you are completely comfortable, explaining the process and how he likes to shoot. He takes the time to understand what you’re after and tailors the shoot to ensure he achieved your vision. I really enjoyed being able to go through the photos at the end and pick the ones I wanted rather than having to wait a few weeks like you would at a usual headshot. After attempting some DIY portraits and failing miserably I had no choice but to go a professional route. After some searching I decided to give this local lad a try, given how good the portraits looked on the website.

This is a completely different experience to just coming and going with some clicks in the middle. Al takes the time to have a casual conversation with you, explain various concepts of portraits and makes you feel more informed and at ease before you even stand in front of the camera. The atmosphere he creates is one of complete comfort and familiarity. Through the whole session he plays your favourite music, allows for a couple of attire choices and after all the photos he uses a very methodical approach to narrow down on the portrait you are most happy with.
