I have been working for Aktrapid for over 10 years now. I find they are quite efficient, friendly and professional. There is room for improvement with some administration tasks, such as ensuring correct address for workplace is given for clients who have more than one workplace. There is always someone to answer questions if in doubt

I am incredibly dissatisfied with the Aktrapid nursing agency. I applied for this job and was told I would be provided with 3 shifts a week. I went through the interview process and process of gathering forms so I could commence at their earliest convenience. Due to this understanding I requested at my current employment to reduce my hours permanently to be on a part time basis. I was initially only given 2 shifts maximum a fortnight and eventually after 3ish weeks was given no shifts at all. The only offering of shifts is to a clinic which I expressed during the interview that I would not be able to travel too for distance reasons and haven't received any shift requests now for 2 weeks. I was also given 3 shifts that were cancelled with no reasoning at short notice and when I asked why I received no response. I'm left in financial hardship due to my understanding of this position and I am so incredibly disappointed that I trusted a service that has left me in this position. For anyone out there looking for employment with Aktrapid I would highly recommend seeking alternative agencies.

Aktrapid doesn’t care about there staff they only care about there aged care clients. If you wanna your staff keep working in your agency you need to protect your staff from some aged cares who are very rude to agency staff and unprofessional. Will never work with Aktrapid again there are much better nursing agency’s in Melbourne

I am working for this Agency and my experience has been really amazing and warming, and administrative staff are really helpful in solving issues, they are always one phone call away to pick up shifts and cancel shifts if in emergency. I loved working for this Agency and I wish to continue working with them.

Very good agency to work with, very flexible. You can choose the days you want to work. Sometimes you can get shifts 2 or 4 weeks ahead at the same place.

I planned to start work after being home for 4 years. My friend recommended the AKTRAPID agency to me. I applied and I got a call the next day. After finishing all the requirements I start getting shifts. Their staff is friendly, helpful and available 24/7. From one of the aged care I got an offer to apply for a position but I declined because I am happy to work for aktrapid and its respectful company. The app is easy to put availability and view shifts, as well as submit a timesheet.

I am happy to work for this company. They are professional and have a friendly approach. You are well supported. It is respectful company that pays top dollars for Nurses hard-work. Work life balance flexible, app is easy to put avalibilities and manage/view shifts, aswell as submit timesheet. Plenty of shifts across Melbourne.
