Ajanta Indian Restaurant

The best Indian restaurant hands down in the south east suburbs. We go here at least 2-3 times a week it is that good. Always consistent with their food. 10/10 for sure recommend this place.

Ate here just over a week or so ago after receiving a recommendation. The staff were friendly and attentive. But the food we had was very bland, tastless and disappointing. The cleanliness and conditions of the restrooms was very poor and was enough to put anyone off their meal. Unsure how other reviews are of such a stark contrast.

I've ordered from here many times. Food quality is consistent and the staff are super friendly. The best Indian restaurant in Cranbourne by far.

Yesterday we ordered malai kofta, daal makhni and paneer butter masala, 3 garlic naan bread, 1 large saffron rice.all curries was very spicy.naan bread was very rubbery there wasnt any garlic on those naan bread all was yellow colour on naan bread.we ordered large saffron rice and came small rice.will not be ordering again.

Seriously the best Indian I’ve had. The vindaloo is actually spicy, like burn your mouth spicy but still so flavourful! Generous servings, we always ask for a large serving of the mains just to make sure we have enough (plus left overs). Every item we get is always perfect and tasty, super authentic. 10/10 recommend!

Ordered food after checking reviews on Menulog. Honestly I won’t recommend anyone who want Indian flavours. They made curries without any flavour of spices. Moreover, there garlic nanns & rooti were so hard to chew. They got fake reviews on Menulog.

Ordered 4 things.first time saw watery tandoori chicken and paneer makhni was more tangy flavored.not happy with the order.

Great food, speedy delivery and the driver was super friendly. Will be a go to for Indian in the area.

The woman who took my phone order was lovely. Very polite and welcoming. A minor hiccup with my address being written down wrong but the lovely driver called me and we sorted it out. Food was incredible! Piping hot and delicious.best chicken korma I've ever had! Loved the little surprise of yummy crispy pappadums! I'll definitely be back!

Could not fault this restaurants food at all. Ordered 2x butter chicken, 2x coconut rice and garlic naans for takeaway. All the food was 10/10. We have never tasted butter chicken so beautifully flavoured before. This is our go to Indian restaurant now. Highly recommend.

(Only improvement I can add is towards delivery times as it was quite long this particular night 11/07)

Don’t order a takeaway. I ordered couple of hours ago, was told food will be delivered in 1 hour & 10 minutes. 2 hours & 10
Minutes later, no food delivered. Won’t try again.

Placed an order for delivery. Food was barely warm when it arrived. Not sure if it had been microwaved or cooked fresh. Chewy lamb and chicken. Will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

It was our first time and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was prepared fast and the food was very tasty. Will visit next time.

Been a long time customer, value for money, quality food and excellent service My only feed back would be to sort out their Biryani recipe.feels quite mushy and overly spiced, everything else 5*s

The best Indian restaurant in cranny. Service is outstanding and the supply of authentic Indian cuisine equals a happy customer.

Last night we order dinner for 4 people and that was not good in terms of taste and food quality my stomach got upset and not really happy from the food sorry guys we will never order again thanx

Very yummy food, friendly staff, good service. Prices reasonable for the quality and ambience with most mains being around the $13 mark. Could have been a little bit warmer when we visited, maybe they need to chuck the heater on for the cold days.

Omg the best curry and cooked just as I asked. The nice guy recomended hot 5-6 for a hot curry and it was a great treat for lunch $10 with a can of soft drink
