Ajanta Indian Restaurant reviews
67We dined in, the service was fantastic and the food was amazing, what a great restaurant, highly recommend this place
Too much salt, order veg biryani and chicken Manchuria, it’s too much salt have to throw away the food
Don't trust on the variety of dishes in the menu because it's only on the paper.when you ordered, they mess up everything with the gravy.
Beautiful food! We live in Brisbane now, however every time we come down to Melbourne we ensure we visit this restaurant as the food is always amazing!
This is our go-to for Indian cuisine whether we dine in or take-away. The food is delicious & reasonably priced and the staff are wonderful.
After a long time trying other restaurants and takeaways we returned to Ajana and thoroughly enjoyed our takeaway.
My wife had chicken tikka masala and I had kadia chicken. Loved every mouthful will be going back at a later date.
Ajanta is one of the better dining experiences that you can find in Cranbourne. If you're in the mood for some quality Indian food, this is a great place to go. The staff are always lovely and courteous and the food is delicious, with care put into presentation and quality. I overheard one of the staff members on the phone talking to a delivery driver to make sure that the food was hot when dropped off at the customer and to otherwise bring it back, which shows their dedication to providing great food to their customers. If you're looking for a nice night out, definitely recommend checking them out!
Best restaurant in town.
Just need to let staff know how spicy you want It they will do more than perfect for you.
Customer service at best.
Best Indian restaurant in cranbourne since "tandoori hut" closed a few years ago. On par with them.
Food was flavourless wouldn’t recommend for indian people it’s more for western poeple, service and staff was great.
I've been coming here for years. Great friendly service, and the Lamb Madras is always wonderful!
Horrible tasting food! I've been a customer for years, however their food quality has declined. Doesn't taste fresh. When I called them up to notify how bad the food taste the guy said u will get the same food if we make it again. Never going back there!
Lovely food, good service & then service drops away once you have been served your main course, hard to obtain the waitresses eyes for service after the main course lose 1 point
Dined in once and take away twice. Food is okay. Reasonably priced, standard Indian food. Some dishes can be a bit bland or salty for my preference. Service seems good.

I had lunch there few days ago and it was really bad quality. I ordered Lamb Rogan Josh with saffron rice. My stomach is upset since then. Won't recommend it.
Awesome food always. Whatever I order it's always fresh with amazing aroma. I love their lacha parantha, aptly made. If you are an evening snack lover, Samosa is the best deal. All I want is just lil extra mint chutney pleaae?
Our group of 8 were all happy with their meals there was a large range of entrees & mains catering for vegetarians. Service was good. BYO wine, beer and soft drinks purchased from the menu.
Best Indian in the south east! Always on time when ordered, fresh and full of flavour! I won’t eat Indian anywhere else!
