Food was so average and service was so bad! Waitress was so rude, and took so long to take our order! Once my friend asked her for share plate for our dessert and she rolled her eyes at him! Don't think I'm going back to this restaurant and won't recommend it.

Average service, waitress was very arrogant and Rude. Too bad because the food was ok, she ruined the entire experience.

Absolutely TERRIBLE. Complete rip off.

We paid $104 for the vegetarian banquet.
This was like eating baby food. Absolute slop. A huge pile of rice and some frozen spinach and a bowl of sloppy potatoes and lentils. NOT EVEN ANY DESSERT! This was honestly the worst food I have had in a very long time, and to be charged $104 This slop would cost a maximum of $10 to make: We feel extremely disappointed and ripped off.
There was nothing fresh. It doesn’t taste authentic at all. It felt and tasted like canned food. I am so confused.
Maybe it’s better if you’re not a vegetarian?

The flavour of the food is ok but not the best, however its very pricey for the amount of food they give you. Especially around a time where everybody is doing it hard like at least give more if you gonna charge 94 bucks for 2 meals.

The food is amazing. My mates had never tried Afghanistani cuisine before trying this restaurant with me and they really enjoyed the food. We had the Shazadeh meal which had soo many items I forgot to even keep track of, by the end we were full to the brim.

Only thing I would request the chef and owners would be to please source their naan from a better supplier and/or make them in house as the naan was a little stale and tasted old. We loved it all regardless.

I am planning on convincing my mates to come back here with me another day.

At here back in February this year. Delicious food. They have the option to add spice to their meals and my husband asked for a level 10/10 as he is a big spice fanatic. Wouldn't suggest this for the faint hearted but he loved it. Some good vegan options.

Excellent ambiance and great food. Quantities of share plates could be better but those of main course was just fine. No high chairs for kids. Doogh needed a bit more sourness. Wait times are not long at all. Overall a pleasant experience.

Amazing family run restaurant! I have been dining here for years. Great food combined with friendly service and a cozy ambience. Highly recommend for a night out in Fitzroy. Reasonably priced as well! You have try the Chef's selection.

Lovely Ambience
We chose this restaurant because it had an extensive vegetarian menu and one of our party is a vegetarian.
We were not disappointed with any of the meals we chose, both meat and vegetarian.
The staff are lovely and they played a beautiful music mix which filled in the gaps but allowed us to talk to each other without shouting.
Will definitely go there again.

The food here was amazing, we loved everything we ordered. The bbq meats were just done to perfection! The curries were nice too. We were so full we didn’t get to order dessert, maybe next time!

The taste of food is good, specifically Sultani Kebab. The Menu is pricy compared to other Afghan restaurants. Also, the rice always come in a shared plate which is not my favourite choice. However, i suggest to try it at least once. The staff are also very nice.

I dined here last night, it's an absolute gem, the food is incredible, bursting with culinary flavours and colour.

The owner was incredibly sweet and helpful, I'm a bit thrown off by the previous comment claiming racism as I too am a person of colour, there were 2 other tables with coloured people dining and she treated me (And them) with respect and genuinity.

Logically if one is to wait an hour for a menu, wouldn't you say something after 10 mins to the waiter/waitress instead of sit there for an hour LOL!

Can't wait to dine here again.

Excellent food, friendly service and a casual comfortable space. Very helpful with all of the different dietary requirements amongst our group.

Yum! This is a gorgeous little place in Fitzroy with delicious Afghan food. The staff are super friendly and the place is immaculate.
The food was amazing and has vegetarian/vegan friendly options.

Attended with family for my birthday, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Great atmosphere the staff are warm and very helpful the food has always been amazing and the Dahl is the best we had had anywhere. Highly recommend this amazing restaurant.
