Always good and love the fresh bread straight from oven not like other restaurants they make bread once in the morning and serve for the rest of the day.

Its the bestafghani food i had.the food was so good. So fresh and delicious. Love the quantity and specially rice.

Family run business with friendly and welcoming service, and delicious food. The chicken and rice is great value as it has a lot of sliced chicken, and the skewer plates are great if you’re extra hungry.

Amazing charcoal kebab and superb customer service. Spacious dining space knowing their customers might double in size when trying to leave after a few yummy shish meals!

Ordered online through their website, only to arrive at the restaurant and be told the website doesn't work and they didn't have my order ready. Very frustrating given there was long queue. No idea if food is good, however clearly their attempts e-commerce needs work ‍️ Phone number also doesn't work.

Love the meat and everything. The flavor deserves a 5 star. But giving 3 stars as saw them reusing leftover bread; staff were putting them back in the kitchen and using them for new orders.

Food is delicious, staff are lovely and prices are good. Not the fanciest establishment so easily overlooked but if you're looking for good Afghan, this is the place to come

Not from the area but we stumbled across it, which I'm grateful for. The food was tasty and very generously portioned. If you are not a big eater, consider sharing the larger (4 skewer) meal. The meat was flavourful and tender. Walked out very satisfied.

Average food, rice was boiled & not kabuli palau as expected, meat was so-so. Portion size also average, expensive approx $21 per meal. Can get the same thing for $16ish elsewhere. Not a proper restaurant but a ‘quick stop’ to eat under 10 minutes and leave. Very congested and over-crowded, can hardly be comfortably seated. 1 lady was running tables and cleaning, so we had to clean our own seats. Food also took longer than usual for Afghan to arrive at the table. Probably won’t go back.

Love this place! Food is so delicious and service with a smile. I live pretty far away from Sahar but definitely worth the drive.

Been going for years and never disappointed! My favourite super value night is grabbing chicken and lamb mixed plate, (a generous amount of real food for about $20), and eating it in front of a movie at the Lunar drive in just down the road! We always fight over that bit of bread they put the meat on, all soggy with meat juices! Mmmmm

This is by far my favourite Afghan Charcoal Kebab place.the staff are always so friendly, the food is amazing (and with big portions) and the price is very reasonable for how much food you get! Do yourself a favour and try it!

Chicken skewers were flavorful and a little spicy but not overwhelming, kebab skewers tender, and the rice was lovely too. Highly recommended

Mmmmmm yum! When you walk in, the aroma of that amazing lamb is just out of this world. Their lamb skewers are so succulent and tender and tasty! This place is now one of my all-time favourites

This is the best charcoal chicken in Victoria. The restaurant is simple and the owner is not very communicative I think because of language skills. But who cares? I just want the best charcoal chicken and souvlaki in Victoria. It's worth to try.

I visit this place all the time! And honestly the chicken and lamb skewers are very delicious with their spicy sauce! And don’t forget to try saffron rice, it’s the best I’ve ever had! Affordable prices with quality food! Highly recommended
