Adora Fertility Melbourne reviews
58 Feeling absolutely devastated after dealing with Adora since April last year.
One step closer every cycle for the most recent one to be told “there should be no reason this shouldn’t work, even though the blastocyst is a little smaller than we’d like we’ll still try”. Of course it didn’t succeed and NOONE has contacted us since until last week, 10 months later. A $600 bill for storage. Of what, we still can’t get an answer - we’ve never been told we have anything left? ! Absolutely deflated.
We tried Adora when it was still Primary IVF in Preston.
We had many failed attempts, but we don’t know if we can chalk that up to them or us. IVF is often a learning process to see exactly what drugs and hormones are needed at what times.
We did succeed on our first attempt at a private clinic after failing here 5 times though.
As far as the process went, it wasn’t very good. The wait times between appointments (even short ones that were to just check off a requirement to proceed) was massive, like months and months.
Every time we tried to call, either it’d ring until it disconnected with no answer, or you’d finally get answered by the receptionists who were very rude.
The IVF process isn’t something people want to be going through, and the people that are the faces of the business should have much more empathy and understanding rather than being abrupt and rude, like we were to blame for them being busy. We did not feel well taken care of at all and once we’d saved up enough we went to a private clinic instead.
In addition to the above, if you did actually get a call back half the time it was from a nurse or receptionist that couldn’t help anyway, so they’d take a message for the right person who would never call you back.
My colleagues recommend me there and she had wonderful experience and got pregnant in first cycle. I had good feedback about staff and doctors. I will be see them soon.
Our dream come true.thank you adora Melbourne to help us get the beautiful baby ever.affordable prices and great team.will try next time with theme for baby #3 ️️
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY on this poorly-managed organisation.
Their problems (based on my experience) :
1- Low success rates (I had 7 unsuccessful treatment cycles there. Then I tried another fertility centre in Melbourne and unbelievably got pregnant in the first cycle!)
2- Rude receptionists
3- Poor communications (you have to wait on the phone for a long time to get answered by the nurse)
4- Hidden costs (they don't say this to you before your treatment starts)
5- Inflexible arrangements (they just think of their own benefits and not your limitations as a patient)
Don’t bother going if you have a high BMI. You will just be told to lose weight as if that’s easy for everyone. Sick of being treated as a second class citizen bc I’m not thin.
Am verry verry happy.my 2th round ivf success thank you for the such a beautiful result.am very proud feel about dr. Linda. Amazing technology ️
Deserves more than 3.3 stars!
Such a shame this clinic does not get the recognition it deserves. This is my first cycle and first lot of treatment on my IVF journey. The nurses, and admin, and Dr Sasha have been kind, caring, supportive and bloody busy.
In an industry where there is a lot of money to be made, we are lucky to be able to access a clinic and the expertise of the professionals at Adroa.
This is a great place to start your journey, many women have had success with Adora and I know if we need more support we can be referred on. I want to pay all my respect to Dr Sasha and his team.
Thank you.
My best experience ever. Such a straight forward process, no waste of time or money. Lovely nurses, lovely specialists and GPs. I had my first pregnancy successfully only in one round of injection and one round of embryo transfer. Day surgery unit was awesome too. Could not recommend this place more
The receptionists are supposed to be helpful. They are the first point of contact and they are nothing but rude and disrespectful. They also don’t get back to calls or emails as promised.
Look at all the reviews regarding your front line staff doesn’t this say something? They are putting your brand down and people are looking else where for their treatments because of this.
They need to be trained and supervised, if this job doesn’t suit them they should be encouraged to look for work within the business where they don’t have to deal with customers.
You as a business need to take some sort of action.
This is so crucial.
Customers do not reserve to be treated in such a way especially when they are trying to stay healthy mentally and physically to bring their dreams alive.
Review your staff and take action
Adora have been nothing short out of outstanding. Everyone there from the doctors to nurses are so friendly. They send very clear instructions. So happy to have found Adora.
We welcomed our first son recently through Adora Fertility and we couldn't be more delighted. It was such a smooth process throughout and Dr. Linda is an absolute miracle worker. Highly recommended and we will surely be back for baby number 2. Thanks a bunch to all the amazing staff, wow technology is fantastic.
We have visited (primary ivf) had 2 transfers in the past 3 years. We have been blessed with 2 beautiful children's success on 1st attempts in both occasions.the receptionist, nurses and staff HAve been very helpful.we still have 3 embryos and will continue to receive future transfer.thank you DR. LINDA.you are AMAZING
We went to Adora IVF after not liking what another big name IVF centre wanted us to go through. We already had the experience from our first son from overseas. Adora IVF got straight to the point, and now our second boy is on his way with the first shot and we have more to come. Adora IVF we can't thank you enough.
I have only had my first appointment but all i can say is that the assistance the reception staff have given me has been greatly appreciated. After many years of struggling to conceive its been an emotional struggle for my partner and I. We were welcomed in with warming smiles from the girls at the front desk and had an amazing consult with the fertility GP. So far our experience has been full of kindness and support which is what we require through such a difficult time. Thanks Adora.
IVF:
Adora seemed to have their IVF protocols down pat. I was relieved with their attention to detail acting promptly on test results that required treatment. There was tweaking of doses of injections, a decision to change medications and changing to a freeze all cycle to prevent OHSS. This process resulted in an excellent number of day 5 embryos collected. I am thankful for their services during this hard time in our lives.
Radiology and Pathology:
Staff were timely and professional. It wasn't too hard to manage there appointments around work.
Reception:
Receptionists originally horrible until new girl started mid 2019. I remember one visit leaving and having a cry in the car about how horrible people can be even while knowing you are dealing with the possibility of never having kids. It made an already difficult process unbearable for me that day. The new girl showed empathy and a pleasant, accomodating manner unlike the others.
Suggestion:
Shaft your rude receptionists to a non front of business role where they can't add to the stressors for your patients. You may find better results for your business overall if stress is a factor of infertility. I'm not saying fire them, I'm sure they are good at something! Just surely not being the face of your business.
We had a wonderful experience using Adora IVF (Primary IVF), from start to finish! There were some administrative frustrations along the way, but this inconvenience pales in comparison to the money saved and the result- our beautiful son! The Nurses, Doctors and Specialists are all lovely to work with, and the organisation have a very organised, efficient and supportive approach to the IVF journey. We will definitely be back, and have highly recommended Adora to family and friends, who are also seeing results! Thanks for everything Adora!
If I could give negative stars I would.
DO NOT USE
The only stress I feel about ivf is having to deal with this shoddy company.
Our first round we lost two blastocysts due to the dodgy medium which they were preserved. This second round which has completely been with The Melbourne branch has been plagued with poor communication, mismanaged appointments, shoddy organisation and now significant additional fees although we have already signed contracts. They get scientists to give this news with no written notification. They have not advised us of how many blastocysts we even have a week after they said they would.
I feel for the front line staff who have to take the brunt of this poorly run company.
Have had a few cycles with Adora Fertility, my experience with them has been satisfying. Reception staff and specialist have always made me feel welcomed and privileged. Highly recommend Adora Fertility.
Average customer service and Dr to Patient communication!
I could write a novel based on the experience I’ve had with this clinic!
Every single step has been nothing short of upsetting! From making appointments (having them cancelled, moved or double booked!) and liaising with reception to a Dr that doesn’t seem to listen or communicate important information that will directly affect you!
If you are already stressed or anxious with the unpleasant journey that is infertility I recommend avoiding this place! It does nothing but impact your emotional state & increase your stress levels!
