Acting Performance Studio

Classes are varied and led by a professional actor from whose experience we learn a lot. The lessons are great fun but also informative and supportive of all individuals.

The games are very fun, and I always learn small things like how to improvise and all. Doing many fun activities while learning is the best part! I am excited for next term!

It was great to get back to acting classes and everyone is so beautiful. I highly recommend coming here.

My son is attending Acting Performance Studio in the Teens Musical Theatre group, he loves it and always returns with a smile on his face. The relaxed atmosphere has allowed him to bond with a lovely community of people and allow him to express himself any way he likes. He is also very dedicated and committed to the group which is wonderful to see how loyal and excited he is to rehearse and perform with such a lovely group.

I went here for 2 years, I loved all the teachers I had (shoutout to Toby and Emma). Everybody had an opportunity to showcase there talent and the people you get to meet are amazing. I want to come back!

On behalf of a few students and myself, we wanted to say we absolutely adore Emma and her screen acting class for adults!
its only been a few months since I've joined and i can positively say, that Monday's have become a day I really look forward to.
We all have so much fun and we've all made such great friendships along the way. Ive already learnt so much about acting and I cannot wait to continue with this class!

We've had a few of our youngsters attend Acting Performance studios, either during school term or as part of the school holiday program. The kids have always loved attending, learnt a lot of definitely benefited form the great tutors and teachers. The staff are friendly, professional and manage to inspire kids.

Great teachers and students, really fun place to be. It feels like a Hollywood experience, and everybody gets a chance to do things. Lots of memories and knowledge have been gained for me.

Our daughter can't get enough! She wants to keep going back. She has been involved in many different activities prior, but this is something she's eager each week to attend.

My kids have so much fun at APS Moorabbin. Apart from that they enhance their social/interpersonal experiences and I have noticed a welcoming increase in their personal confidence. The team experience of completing a musical play together in front of a live audience in a beautiful theatre is heart-stirring! Thankyou Naomi and team for bring out the best in these kids and for being so kind to them as the little individuals they are.

Came to the Thea McLeod workshop, was so amazing! Had a really great time and I’ll definitely be returning to this studio everyone was so helpful and lovely

My son completed an All Abilities term on Exploring the Film World. Wow - What a class! Big thank you to Martha Noone for creating & doing such a fantastic job teaching the class. Also many thanks to Jacquie & Naomi who are both so lovely. Acting Performance Studio is so professional & well organised. My son has finally found a hobby he enjoys. Bring on Term 2!

Nicky and staff are all fantastic they encourage all the kids to be themselves and show them it truely is a safe space, bringing out confidence, self esteem and enthusiasm, the energy and acceptance is amazing.
My son never enjoyed reading and still doesn’t but when it comes to his scripts he is completely invested. 2 years ago when he came home with his first script he not only read with fluency and confidence he was also able to remember and act it out within half an hour of coming home. This class has helped him develop and shine in his own way just by the way they allow all kids to embrace their own uniqueness without any judgment or pressure.

Naomi and the all the lovely staff and teachers at APS do such a wonderful job with the kids. My son loves musical theatre and his confidence has grown so much since being properly nurtured by the wonderful teachers. Highly recommend APS.
