Horrible service. No professionalism.
Yesterday evening I was locked out from my apartment. I called them around 6: 00 pm to asked if they can help me one of there technician said i can around 8: 30 pm. I waited till 8: 30pm but i didn't get any response. I called so many times to technicians but he didn't answer. After somany tries he finally picked my call around 8: 45pm and said can you go to your apartment via balcony? I said no. Then he replied t Ican't help you today YOU HAVE TO WAIT until tomorrow morning. Such a bad experience.

Have used Ace for a number of jobs recently. They went above and beyond for the last one. Much appreciated.

He is honestly an absolute awesome human being, I visit him for any and all locksmith needs! And he does a perfect job, every single time, no doubt about it.

Shocking experience - go to St Kilda locksmiths two doors up (advice from a local)! Had 3 x keys cut, all of them bar the original would open our front door. Called to complain as stranded outside our house, and was swore at and hung up on - with the worst attitude - told it “wasn’t their problem. ” As a local resident, when you’re trying to get into your house and all the ‘new keys’ don’t work bar the one you took to get cut from…clearly the issue lies with the locksmith and not with us. Thank god for a real locksmith that came to our house to cut correct keys and inform us the incompetents at Ace had cut from some other key in their shop.

Called Ace Locksmith (Pete) outside hours (7pm) and they sent a subcontractor (Terry) over that charged me the abusive price of $250, to pick a lock for less than a minute.
The next day I called Ace in to see if the price was correct and they told me that usually the fee charged is something $140/$160 and that he was impressed that the contractor charged that much but there was nothing he could do about it.
Ace Locksmith is a company that its lack professionalism is only surpassed by their lack of effort on the customer service.

I'd been quoted $60 to cut a Toyota Key blank to suit my car. These guys did it in under 5 mins for $2 it always pays to shop around but these guys are first class.

We needed a complete re-key of our apartment after it had been tenanted for a number of years, plus upgrade of the security. Living in Sydney and trying to get this done in St Kilda remotely was going to be a challenge, especially during lock down. But it was no problem for Ace Locksmiths, they were quick, efficient, professional and we managed the whole job remotely. Claire was awesome from start to finish and the team on site doing the job reported back on some amendments which made the place even more secure. I can't recommend them more highly, thanks to the whole team!

Excellent service. Friendly locksmith came out and fixed our lock and provided spare keys. Price was less than quoted on phone. Highly recommended.

I had to pick up a set of keys for the tenancy I am renting and Claire was extremely hard to work with. I explained that I am a tenant at this property and I am here to pick up the keys as instructed by our real estate agent via email. I showed her the email from the real estate agent yet she refused to handover the keys because the email was not in the format she insisted.

I suggested we call the real estate agent together but she insisted on an email the way she wants it. I even offered to show her the digital copy of our lease agreement for the address. She refused them all so I had no choice but to call, ask the real estate agent to email the way she wanted it and sit there to wait on an email. A task that would easily be solved within minutes ended up taking half an hour. There is clearly no consideration of people’s time and customer service in what they do and there are plenty of locksmiths out there who are easier to work with.

I needed to get new keys for my roof rack, I called several locksmiths that were unable to help. Darren was very helpful on the phone and in person. He was able to cut a key in less than 20 min for a great price. I’m so impressed! Thank you very much Darren!

Not the average locksmith, they are very knowledgeable and helpful, they know what they are doing and they do it properly

I called Ace Locksmiths out on a Sunday, later afternoon, on behalf of our Owner's Corporation as an internal door in the building was jammed shut as the lock had failed. Great service - a tech.was out with us in about 20 minutes and sorted the job after a further 30 minute job. Very much appreciated, as the residents of 6 units on the 'wrong' side of the failed door couldn't get in/out of the building. Would highly recommend Ace to St. Kilda locals and others not from the area.

I took time off work for the appointment they didn’t show up they didn’t ring. When I rang them they just said they were to busy, well so am I, busy looking for another locksmith.

Professional, Polite & Great Service!

We had our front door lock replaced at our rental property Using Ace locksmiths. A very kind and knowledgeable gentleman originally from London (Unfortunately forgot his first name!) replaced and took the time to show how to use the new lock and the best care for it.

When having your front door lock replaced you really feel like you need to trust the people doing the job and with these guys we did!

He also answered a few questions I had about other home security while he did the job.

If you're going to verbally abuse the staff at Maccas drive thru for simply doing their job, can I suggest doing it in a car without your business signwritten on the back. And no I'm not a member of staff there, I was in the car behind you. Not a good look.

Needing to have a lock replaced recently and Ace Locksmiths had a quote sent quickly with a good price. Had the lock replaced quickly within the day. The Locksmith was awesome to chat with and very professional. Great service overall and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others locally that need a fast turnaround in service.
