60 Best lebanese restaurant in Melbourne!
Friendly service, amazing food, very fresh! Highly recommend
Delicious food at good prices. Limited wine selection and overpriced. Friendly staff but waiters seem to think think their mask wearing is optional. Service was poor even allowing for a busy night. Access to upstairs not suitable for most Seniors
I am giving 3 stars for:
1. Quality
2. Taste
3. Presentation
I must say you could be more reasonable with the pricing on your menu - the prices are absurd.
The worst I have seen, in the whole city!
Being a chef and an owner of a restaurant my expectations are high.
This small jem experience was above my expectations.
Well done.
Banquet was overpriced - I found it a bit lack luster. The dips were quite tasteless, shop bought pita. The following meals didn't have the flavour & spice that i expect from this cuisine. The Beans so overcooked & the meat was dry & overcooked, the desert the Baklava was missing the nuts and Turkish delight was similar to shop bought from a packet. Disappointing given the reputation of this place
What a amazing restaurant.great food & the customer service was fantastic. Its like eating Lebanese at home. Will be back in a heartbeat!
All my friends told me "Abla's is an institution. " I can see why. Friendly and warm service and absolutely delicious, flavourful, fresh, quality Lebanese food in a refined setting. We enjoyed the Lebanese wines on the menu too.
Really high quality Lebanese for a price that seems fit for the experience. Only qualm is it is no longer BYO even though the signage suggests otherwise (but maybe I should've checked online before I booked).
Wonderful food and a lively dining experience. Haven't been back for years but it's just as good as I remember. Superb!
Cute little restaurant, i consider it a hidden gem. Authentic decor and the food has a very home made sort of feel/taste to it.
Great customer service, what you see is what you get. Had not been before and i will definitely be returning, considering how much of a great experience i had. Affordable as well as being very tasty. Rate this place a lot.
Much more upscale than I expected. The servers were friendly, just the right balance between formal and casual. The food was exquisite - loved the chicken and the lamb. Don’t go too crazy on the dips and pitta as you’ll need good appetite for the rest.
We'd been craving great Lebanese food ever since we visited Lebanon three years ago, and we finally found it at Abla's. There was plenty to choose from and a lot of variety. I can highly recommend the mixed dips, the fattoush salad and the baked cauliflower entree. With the addition of Arak and Lebanese wine, I was very satisfied. It's a little on the pricey side for us, so it was a treat.
Had the Banquet menu last night & it was delicious. Wonderful food, wine & served by beautiful people. The place felt like you were in a friends' warm, cosy lounge room!
A truly remarkable restaurant. The food is fabulous. The staff are lovely. Its been open for decades and they just know how to run a restaurant. The food is exceptional. Put it on the bucket list.
Banquet menu is a great way to get acquainted with their menu. Only downside was a lack of sauces/dips served with the meats
The quality of food and service has really deteriorated over the years. It used be beautiful authentic generous portioned food served with warmth. It has changed drastically and based on my latest visit won't go back. There are so many other middle eastern options that are as casual and better value for money or pay slightly more for fine dining middle Eastern at Mahas with amazing service. Don't bother sending the restaurant a complaint online they won't respond.
Truly authentic and tasteful Lebanese food. I really love the meat and the salads. Cant go wrong with them.
The host Abla and staff make you feel at home with the hospitality and the home made style food
An absolute classic. Traditional food prepared by the grandmas who know it best. The decor is dated but you won't be disappointed by the food.
Delicious food, made with love not pretension. Friendly, helpful & efficient staff. Make sure you book otherwise you might not be a be to get a table. Will be recommending to friends and family who live here. I'll be back next time I'm in Melbourne.
