Abacus Bar & Kitchen reviews
73Manuka - what an absolute legend you are. My friend and I Anita are sitting in a bar and we thought of just how fantastic your service was. We work in a service orientated industry of realestate where it’s imperative we consistently provide the best quality service and you exceeded our expectations because you made us feel at home. We’re from Sydney and we couldn’t thank you enough for your hospitality. Yes for those who are reading the food is unbelievable and worth every penny and time of your day but just so you know, Manuka’s service is the cherry on top. This restaurant has everything!
Not sure if this place is bar or a cafe but we had some very creative cocktails and the service was friendly.
The staff were great. The menu wasnt our cup of tea. Best for breakfast and lunch. The venue is clean and ambience is perfect
Trendy cutting edge, used to be Westpac bank here I think, la la la, on Chapel St, near Aldi, and lots of stuff. Also there are some trees and plants inside, yeah- gosh
Light and breezy, with a tree growing in the middle. You feel a little bit like you are at a picnic. What better way to start your day. Menu is off beat in that good way. And the food is delicious. A great spot for a long lazy breakfast or lunch. Of course you could do a quick bite to fuel up before hitting the market crowd.
All I can say is wow about the food and atmosphere. Jay was great.
Highly recommend a must try. When I am back from Sydney will come again.
Had an enjoyable brunch with my friend yesterday. The cafe decor is styling. Food was well presented, fresh and amazing. Seafood option in all-day menu. Warm customer service. Definitely will come back again. Recommended!
6 main dishes, 3 are not available. Fish is burnt, tastes bitter. The manager didn’t even feel bad about the nasty food. Side dishes are good. Not coming back.
Cool vibe with the greenery inside. The menu sounded exciting but was a bit let down on flavour compared to other brunch places around. The food looked amazing but the taste was a bit bland and flavourless. Great service.
Easy access off the main road and conveniently close to the market and shops. The Abacus staff were friendly and professional, also very helpful with our many requests. We opted for cocktails instead of coffee and really enjoyed the different options. The Rosella Spritz was very enjoyable. For breakfast we shared oysters, octopus, slipper lobster crumpets & a nice salad. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was great.
Bit to much focus on being trendy and not as much on customer service.
Food was okay, but not really worth the price.
Great food very unique plates. A little on the pricey side but vibe and ambiance make up for it. Cool cocktails. Very friendly staff
Personal love for the mushroom fries —overall, its a visual treat and the staff take great care to ensure you’re enjoying your experience. Great restaurant with highly imaginative dishes.
