Aangan Point Cook reviews
53It was an amazing experience at this place. I and my husband booked table for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and the girl was surveying us had given a brilliant service really appreciate and recommend to everyone because now it’s my favourite restaurant due to delicious food I have enjoyed

Ordered indo chineese chicken sweet corn and vegetable sweet corn soups. Both overly salty and spicy. Informed and replaced with a smile with an even worse than before taste.
Ordered Pubjabi Goat curry, came in butter chicken sweet gravy, orange in colour, stale in taste.
Ordered bhalla chat, it tasted ok.
Besides the service with a smile frm student workers, nothing good abt the food anywhere close to being authentic Indian food. Not going again.
We have ordered soup and it was good but chicken fried rice which we have ordered it was not fried rice but sticky rice and tasteless. No one has asked how is food. Service was also bad. Not served big plate for rice either. Will not come back again.
One of the WORST ever place to visit.
Guys carpet was extremely STICKY + there were fungus on it and very very very dirty and extremely unhygienic and absolutely horrible foul smell
Adding to it one of the worst things about it was the bathroom, OMG the floor was incredibly SLIPPERY and HAZARDOUS. I was nearly about to fall twice.
Now let’s talk about food, the taste was absolutely terrible the food COLOUR is still on my hand after 12 hours and I did wash it multiple times.
Staff doesn’t even know whose party is it where is the arrangement etc etc.
Absolute disaster I hope this message is been seen/heard/delivered to owner or higher management so that they can really renovate the interior floors.
The trust is gone from the name ANGAN.
All the best!
Ordered in last night. Dhal, paneer mutter was full of oil and tasteless. Pav was burnt and bhaji was oily. My partner had vomiting overnight after eating this wretched food. If you don't have the right resources to run a restaurant please close down. People lives would be saved!
Food is good. But the staff doesn't care. When I ordered different naans (garlic, butter and kheema) I asked if the naans can be packed separately. But when I picked up the food.there was only one pack of naans. When I asked the lady in the front desk, she lied on my face that they are separately wrapped and packed into one. When I opened the pack at home this what I found. Not sure if the staff is lazy to pack or they don't care or they are saving on a wrap.
This place is attempting a comeback. The food has improved but the ambience and freshness inside the restaurant is still poor. Which is the case with most indian restaurants in the west. Once that is improved, is a good choice to consider
We had a wonderful vegetarian dinner tonight at Aangan to celebrate a birthday. Each dish was unique in flavour, fresh and tasty. The service was exceptional and we are grateful that the team catered for our hungry little 3yo guy - ensuring that his dish was not spicy and came out as quickly as possible. Each member came throughout our dinner to see if we needed anything and ensure that we were enjoying our meals. Highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to dine there again!
We had a party for 35 guests. Raj and her team were very professional. Service was excellent. They looked after us very well. The food was absolutely delicious. Thank you.
Best place I visited with my friends and relatives.
Food was amazing worth every cent.
Absolutely amazing customer service.
100000/100 recommended.
Thanks for great service my relatives were super happy.
Based on a friend's suggestion, we tried this restaurant. We went for early dinner at 5: 30. We were the only customers at that time. We had to switch on to different tables due to various reasons. First, the toilet was not cleaned and we need to switch to a table far away from the washrooms. Dining floor had too much of waste tissues. Probably because they didn't expect customers too early.
Ordering food was through barcode scan in mobile and payment immediately. I didn't see any payment option at the counter.
Food was quick and tasty. We had goat curry and rotis. Enjoyed the food. Only disappointment with the food was, I ordered masala tea and was served with coffee. Since the coffee taste was good, I didn't complain
Awesome place and the food. Service was good and I liked it Aam panna the most.
Worth every penny. Definitely coming back.
We are regular customers of this place dining in here and also ordering take aways. We love the food here. We had our parents 49th Wedding Anniversary party in Aangan Point Cook and had an amazing experience. All our guests loved the food. The ambience was superb. The service was excellent - a big shout out for Raj, Himani, the other lady whose name we don't recall and the cook. They refilled the food items whenever we requested. We highly recommend this place for dine out, take away and parties.
I ordered a Punjabi butter chicken and a butter chicken. Both tasted good but there was a metal string in the punjabi butter chicken and I almost swallow it. It seemed like it’s from a kitchen scrubber. It was sharp and dangerous. Quite disappointed. Kitchen staff needs to pay more attention on food safety.
It has been 30 minutes we have entered the restaurant and all other tables have used plates which are not cleared by the staff, even we had to wait for 15 minutes just for them to clear our table, also there is an issue with their ordering system, we scanned the barcode and placed the order and paid online, but they say they havnt received the order and telling us to pay again, we have a proof of the payment receipt and the bank statement.
Food quality was good, but the quantity was absolutely little compared to price. Service was horrible.
The food quantity offered here is much more than the Aangan in Foostcray. I was really surprised and happy as I got to eat more of my favourite food.
We ordered samosa chaat, chaat papdhi, and tikki chaat and they were delicious.
The reason I am taking points away is that I would like staff taking orders in person. Ordering food sitting on the table, through the app was fine but then you can't add or subtract things sometimes.
Other than that, food was good, quantity reasonable, price reasonable and service was also fine.
We had been to aangan and to our disappointment the food tasted pretty average. We had ordered chilli chicken which was overcooked, panner gravy was average, aloo tikki was okay and the portion was less. Moreover, the menu is expensive.
Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience. On the brighter side, the ambience was good.
Great food. Very authentic. Good service. Had butter chicken, biryani and fish tikka. Kid also love the food.
Excellent food, Punjabi butter chicken was awesome, Vicky paji is very supportive, amazing experience.
