75 Home of football. Still best stadium in Melbourne. Now with improved pitch and better screens. They just need to upgrade the speakers which sound terrible.
The food and drink areas need attention, especially the bar. Doesn't even display prices. Has slipped over the years
Went to watch A-league game, Victory v SydneyFC. Great venue for games no matter where you sit, great viewing of the game
Disgusting.
Toilets are always filthy and water all over the floor. No social distancing. Lazy security guards
Get some control of the Melbourne victory fans who can’t handle their alcohol and start racially abusing Adelaide fans. The stadium was great but the bogans were insane.
Travelled from Adelaide for the soccer, been here before but this is one of the best sporting venues in the country!
Home of football. Best stadium in Melbourne. Now with improved pitch and better screens. They just need to upgrade the speakers which sound terrible.
We attended the FIFA womens world cup game. Great view. Good game. The volume of the music and adverts was way too loud. Hearing damage volume. We arrived early as we were warned about time needed for bag searches etc. So we had an hour of this before the game started, so many people including us had our fingers in our ears. Such a relief when the game started as the ear splitting music and talk stopped. Everyone was making jokes about being made deaf by the noise.
Seriously if you work there you should report it to work safe as you will have hearing loss.
Please turn the volume down Aami stadium, TOO LOUD.
Home of Melbourne Storm plus Melbourne Victory & Melbourne Rebels. My three sporting teams I support.
Great venue but you CANNOT leave the stadium and regain entry
No-one told me this until I tried to get back in after 1/2 time
Security insisted I would have been told this on entry
THAT DID NOT HAPPEN
I missed half the game I went to see.
The stadium itself is amazing, it has a great design, lights colouring it at night from the outside and the seats are structured around the field in a more vertical manner, rather than pushing them further away from the field. So the view is great from anywhere!
However, the atmosphere at a Storm game is very poor. The announcer is rude and doesn't bother announce the away team players, the mascot sets an extremely bad example for children, taking a stuffed animal from their opponents and jumping on it in wrestling moves to degrade it. I'm surprised the NRL allow it! The majority of the fans are very aggressive when their team loses and I have even been kicked out of my paid members seat by security for cheering for the opposition!
So the stadium is great, but the experience you have there is affected by the poor club culture, from the violently angry coach Craig Bellamy to the poor sportsmanship players Cameron Munster setting bad examples for both adult and child fans alike.
Parking was a shocker, better notification about closed car parks would be helpful prior to arriving especially as your website recommended closed car parks. Flexibility for entering at different gates would be appreciated instead of redirecting little kids to walk in the rain around considering the match had already started and internal access would have kept us dry. The venue was as good as expected, clean and entry staff were helpful.
Fantastic grounds at AAMI park the home of Melbourne City FC. Was a pleasure to get the opportunity to see the stadium and enjoy a game of soccer live! After the last year of COVID restrictions I would recommend anyone and everyone to get out and see a live event at this stadium!
Great stadium, they sell Canadian club. Maybe I don't look properly but unless I go all the time I'm not sure where each gate is.
Beautiful little venue. Just right for a great night out.
They have some weird rules for different classes of people, like only rich people can exit through the gate to the carpark, poor people have to walk an extra 6 meters to the 'main' exit. But, other than the strange classism, it seems nice.
Great venue to watch football, great views and helpful staff. Food quality can definitely be better specially for the high price
Coffee cart closes just after half time. It’s very hit and miss for quality coffee considering you’re paying a bomb. The food available is also of poor quality, could definitely be improved and better priced. Only limited menu available during covid, therefor it might be worth eating before attending any matches. Seating is adequate but parking needs to be booked in advance for a guaranteed spot at Melbourne park across the road.
First time in this wonderful stadium, what an awesome facility! All the staff we encountered as we entered, were friendly, welcoming, and when we were looking for help with the ticket scan entry and directions to our seats, they were there to assist. On this afternoon, we came to watch an A-League soccer match, and it ended up being a sensational high scoring phenomenal match, seesawing action all afternoon, bonus was our team won 3-2! Woohooooo! Great day out! Oh, and I really love the design of this stadium! What a fantastic looking structure!
Had a corporate box for the night. Food was exceptional, drinks flowed and service was great. Very strict with covid checking in so we all felt safe.
Best place for rectangular sports: not overwhelming huge, great atmosphere, plenty of toilets and bars, easy to get in and out of, 70% rain cover. Watch out on the eastern upper deck at sunset- you get blasted! My favourite field in Melbourne.
The monster trucks need to do more flips, how disappoitning! If I was a child I would cry and not be impressed at all.
One flip? Get real. You will not get me again, I can tell you that.
