A1 Bakery Fairfield reviews
61The food’s great here! I come here frequently. They have healthy (and delicious) salads too.
The Best Bakery I have ever been to so far in Australia!
We had their famous custard don't, so rich and creamy!
Then we also had the Charcoal Chicken Wrap and the taste was just out of the world!
And our Chai Latte was also perfect taste!
The ambience is a vibe in itself also lovely and cosy, staff are so friendly and always there to help with a bright and smiling face! We went at the right day today, which is their 10th anniversary and it was just awesome! There was Belly Dancing, Drummers, DJ and lots of music!
Most amazing experience with the amazing staff and the food was ginger licking good!
Thank you and can’t wait to come back X
Can't be beaten for the tastiest spinach and lemon triangles in the southern hemisphere. The busiest take away food spot in Fairfield for very good reasons. Highly recommended!
Sandra, her mum, and the whole A1 crew are just the best vibe. Not to mention the consistently amazing food. So glad to have you in the neighbourhood. Don’t ever leave
Best party catering! Everything was fantastic for my son's 6th birthday - enjoyed by young and old. The falafel were particularly delicious.
Having the delicious food delivered made setting up the party a breeze.
Definitely recommend!
Service is always so friendly, love the vibe and food never disappoints.recently loving their juices!:)
I've been here twice recently and I can't say I was all that impressed. The Borek was way too salty and the spanikopita was mushy. The pesto, olive and Halloumi triangle was better, but I was a bit disappointed overall.
Nouha’s lentil soup is the best in Melbourne, staff always so friendly and food is fantastic!
On every level this bakery is the BEST!
Wonderful staff (authentic, kind and cool), the yummiest food that never disappoints, a coffee window out the front, and litte courtyard out the back.
Store closed till 23 Jan 2023, catering still available I believe
Love this place, please reopen soon. We miss the lovely food & service ️
Had the tandoori chicken pie. Wow yummy.
Big range of food for a quick bite and very friendly service.
To staff: please please be careful when offering gluten free / vegan options. I initially ordered a gluten free pizza and made it clear to the lady taking my order I was also dairy free - she told me all the the pizza had on it was a Tomato base with chicken. My pizza came out with a whole heap of cheese over the top that I could tell was regular cheese. I went and told them I am also dairy free and they apologised and made me another one and advised I could keep the first one if my family wanted to eat it.
I received the second one and was happy, it was delicious worth the wait. I had a piece leftover of the second one which I boxed with a few pieces of the first one and took home.
Later that evening I ate my last piece of the second one and then took a closer look at the original one. I was shocked to see the bases were actually different! I took some of the cheese off the original and took a bite and realised that was the gluten free base and the second replacement one I was given had vegan cheese and a regular base! No wonder it tasted good!
If you are going to offer gluten free bases you need to be careful - you can make someone very sick. I am so strick with eating gluten free due to some medical issues and have not eaten gluten for a solid year only to find I have now eaten a full pizza!
This has completely put me off from ever eating here again. It’s not good enough to make these kind of errors.
This A1 bakery is very small, it was almost impossible to social distance. Food and coffee was nice. Staff was friendly. However, it’s more expensive than the O. G.one in Brunswick.
MASSIVE shout out Josie, James, Ateesha and Sandra for always greeting us with a smile and love! Amazing people and food! Defs recommend!
I’m in love…. Was introduced to the delights of A1 bakery at a function. I drove 1/2 hour just to visit the store, the lovely lady on the register (& I believe chef of these exquisite delights) was so friendly and helpful. 100% love the Mushroom & halloumi triangle.
Great variety of lunch time eats.
Excellent n prompt service.
Impressive selection of savoury treats.
The name says it all A1 - Thank you!
As a person who was born and raised in the East Mediterranean I can say this place hands down is the best in Melbourne for Fateh and Falafel.
Quite happy with the attitude in this bakery. My order got messed up today, and they amended the situation in a satisfying way. Thanks for the good service.
One the best food places on Fairfield. The lentils soup is delicious and most of the pastry as well
