Had wood subfloor leveling issues which were preventing me from laying down floating floorboards. A number of quotes were provided without doing a thorough assessment which gave me concern given they could affect the structural integrity of my house. Charles was realistic and upfront which gave me more comfort about what was actually achievable. In the end, I didnt up going with the jack and pack but Charles's assessment was worth every dollar in terms of saving me going down a wrong path.

I had several doors not opening/closing properly, floor out of level and a loud creaking noise in the kitchen. Now all doors open/close without jamming, the floor feels level under foot and the loud creaking noise in the kitchen has gone! (Even the shower door in the spare bathroom now slides open/close correctly - previously I thought it was the old door's fault).

Works progressed at a rapid rate once started. Charles listened to what I wanted fixed then Joe went to work, removing 77 rotten timber stumps in just three days - a herculean effort! The job was completed promptly - started on a Tuesday and finished the next week on Friday.

Throughout the works I was kept informed of the progress. The job was finished without any problems and I am very satisfied with the result. Charles was great to deal with - experienced, no sales pressure tactics with a confident but laid back attitude. Joe was fun to work with - watching him smash out a big session of work then coming back the next day to do it again was impressive.
