Sunday morning. We tried out breakfast, food was ok, place has a old time nostalgia about it, quite nice actually, the only downfall, place needs a really good clean, floor was so sticky and grubby, we actually had to tank our feet of the floor, my feet practically came out of my shoes, they were stuck to the floor, may they hadn't thought through it to well, food took a little to long and didn't come come out all together.

The phone number doesn't connect, you can call 50x to try and get through and each time it rings for 30sec than says line busy. Finally get in and the waitress says to order online through an app, which app did you say? Who knows, she's walked off and the website doesn't say anything, the menus say nothing. There is no guidence whatsoever. Very poor form

This is not a restaurant, it's more like being in a nightclub. I have never been anywhere so noisy in my life and will never go back. Don't go if you want a relaxing meal and conversation with your family or friends. We were a group of 7 and you couldn't even speak to the person next to you for them to hear. For a restaurant that advertises vegetarian friendly, there was 1 option on the menu which was gnocchi in a tomato sauce. $27 for 8 pieces of gnocchi with some sauce. The first time it was served it was stone cold, I sent it back and when it was returned it was lukewarm at best. I gave up after that. Everyone else's meal was average too. We were not asked if we wanted further drinks after our initial ones, probably because the staff can't hear what anyone is saying. We all only had a main and left and went across the road for dessert and coffee. This place is very different to what it used to be. None of our group or our families will go back there. Definitely NO social distancing here.

Had the most delicious calamari Asian salad here and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere for over two hours. Wide range of choices for lunch and one choice for dessert.

Have been here a few times, a couple of years between each visit.
Most recently, I went for lunch and the food was quite nice! The added "beer garden" is a clever way to increase capacity and they've polished up, what is essentially just car parks, to look inviting and fun.
The loss of one star is the simplicity of both the menu and the general vibe. I have heard, and can agree, that this is mostly a good bar/bistro in the evening and I dont think I experienced the full effect at lunch time.

There is no other place to be satisfied if I want to dine out. Excellent staff, most delicious food, brilliant vibes, classy and lot more.

It was a nice restaurant before but know I had to wait for half an hour for my burger and the restaurant was almost empty, can't emagin when it's full.
Also we asked to replace our chips with salad but they charged us for it as extra despite not having our chips

Ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Burger, absolutely delicious. Chicken was so juicey and tender. And the sauce drizzled on-top just made the burger melt in you mouth. If you go I highly recommend getting this from the menu

Pretty disappointing, we went for dinner on a Sunday night, the restaurant was at 50% capacity but service was shocking. There was only 2 of us and while the food came out quickly (once we finally got to order it), our drinks never arrived.
The noise in this place is horrible, we had to shout across the table just to hear each other. The only saving grace was the food, which was amazing, unfortunately not worth going back for with all the other problems.

AWESOME staff, good honest food and drinks at fair, honest prices, the only negative was that we were bumped out of a private area we booked for a 50th birthday for 20, into a single line of tables in the narrow entry thoroughfare where it was impossible for our party of 20 odd to chat and enjoy each other's company on a special occasion.

Although we LOVED the staff, enjoyed the food and were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices, we were left VERY DISAPPOINTED by the decision to bump us out of the space we booked in favour of (obviously) more "deserving" people.

In the end, we were left feeling more like a food court experience than a celebration dinner it was meant to be.

First-world problems, agreed, but, nonetheless, my honest feedback. Not sure I'd book again after being bumped like that for such a special occasion - YES the owner and manager DID KNOW and understand this but still bumped us anyway - disappointed!

Best night in Berwick!

The owner is a wonderful man and has passed down this attitude to all his staff who care for every patron who walks through the door!

The food is always perfection and the drinks are always flowing.

Great value for money and wonderful atmosphere.

If I could, this venue would get more than 5 stars

I was checking out restaurant for a family celebration.lovely waitress, delicious food.but sticky table top, wine glass and water glass both returned as unclean.glassware is horrid with the wine glass having a huge rim around top.just not high enough standard of cleanliness which is disappointing as food great!

My food (two entrees) and drinks came out an hour after putting in the order and 45min after the rest of the table. When we asked for staff to follow up where it was, we were told the kitchen was busy even though food was arriving at other tables. Asked multiple staff to follow it up and they were fairly unhelpful. When the good came out at 7: 45 before our 8pm end time and we asked what they could do to compensate as we had already paid for all the food and we told they couldn't do anything as they were fully booked, no offer to reduce cost or allow us additional time. Very disappointing.

Wanted to have night out with friends and made a booking for 27 people we had 21 turn up, we were told we could have a choice of 6 main meals which started out OK, except for the pumpkin risotto turning out to be mushroom risotto and charging $45 for it, once the bill came they charged us for 27 people when we brought it up with the Manager we were threatened by the bar staff to fight outside, the manager threw the bill at one of my heavily pregnant friends and told us they would call the police if we didn't pay, i cant believe a business in this day and age can operate with such incompetence

Absolutely disgusting treatment of a work colleague that visited this evening. Bar staff were targeting her all night and she was asked to leave the bar at 9: 20pm. Won’t be returning anytime soon.

Very good service and food
Steak slightly over cook i ordered med rare but got medium but still
Very tender and beautifully char grilled favour i upgraded to surf and turf sauce with 3 large prawns served in a very nice cream sauce

Only disappointing think was two
Of the beers i ordered that was on there drinks menu was no longer
On the menu but they had not changed it

Great food, let down was being rushed to leave, we had an 8 oclock booking and the kitchen closes at 9, staff were pushy to get us to leave, cocktails weren't very good for the price either

Absolutely amazing. Service and atmosphere were great and the food was fantastic. Had a tapas plate to share with my husband and it was perfect in every way - cooked perfectly, presented beautifully and tasted even better than you would think. Prices were very good value for money. Would highly recommend and will go back again in the future.

Though the garlic bread was a bit ordinary, the rest of the food was absolutely delicious, and was a very generous size for sharing between 2 people.
Absolutely recommend coming here.

Don't try to make a booking by leaving a message (or two) on their answering machine because your call will not be returned.
The large servings of food were unhealthy in appearance, infact just large plates of brown food.
Sweets are not worth the calories and the coffees were luke warm even after asking for extra hot.
A very disappointing evening. This restaurant must be under new management since the last time we dined there.
