48h Pizza & Gnocchi Bar South Yarra

Ordered a Napoletana pizza. The anchovies came in a separate tin, rather than on the pizza? Why? That’s so weird and not at all what I would expect from a Napoletana. I guess I’ll use the tinned anchovies when I make my own pizza.

If I could give the place 6 stars for the food, I would. I had the vaie on the beach. It was just so good! The dough was perfect as well. William, our waiter was super friendly and very helpful. I'm going back soon.

Reservation is recommended on the weekends.
We arrived at 5: 15pm without reservation so luckily the owner or the staff let us spend an hour. We ordered the most popular pizza and seafood gnocchi after 5mins arrive at the restaurant. Both dishes were served in around 15-20mins.
Rocket, palmesan cheese and prosciutto were on top of the pizza dough. It was so good!
No wonder that they've awarded many times.
Hope we were not in a rush next time so make sure to reserve the table!

The Award winning food was amazing, coupled with friendly service and central location. Selection of dishes for vegetarians and other diet restrictions.

Pizza to die for. Amazing Gnocchi. All paired with awesome service and real Italian feel.

Delicious food and amazing service from the minute we walked through the door. Make sure to book as this place is popular!

Very upset!
In the booking process, I let them know I needed extra space for the stroller, and on that day the waiter manager did not allow us to use it for space reasons, so the baby was sitting with us. He could have told us earlier. So rude.
The pizzas were not cooked well and some of us throw them up!
Never again!

Really disappointed with the gnocchi on my last visit, it was very grainy and dry. Really disappointing given the restaurant is a gnocchi bar.
Pizza and calamari were delicious however so I’ll stick to this if I return.

Absolute shambles! The food truck at Moomba was a disaster. The staff had no idea with the orders and had people waiting 40 minutes for a pizza. I will never order from them again.

Had to cancel due to sick child tried and tried to call the phone no but automated phones so no human contact, therefore forced to cancel online without being able to give a reason as to WHY and because of this these people charge $40.00 per head as a cancellation fee, this is disgusting behaviour for a small business and should not be allowed.

I WILL NEVER RETURN AND DEFINITELY WILL NEVER RECOMMEND. WAKE UP SMALL BUSINESS!

Great authentic, Italian Pizza, great Bebe and ambiance, pizza made with Italian hands, Italian run, fantastic service.

Pizza & Pasta was great. Service excellent and food came out pretty quickly. Definitely will be back again.
Be sure to book as the restaurant isn't huge and tables go pretty quickly.
