1895 The Royal

Tonight we had a booking at 6: 30, we were told upon arrival there would be wait and we were fine with that. After 40 minutes we left, it's a 34 degree day and we weren't even given water and I'm 6 months pregnant. We came out on a week night to support, to not even give us water after 40 minutes.don't take the bookings if you can't manage them.

This place is a absolute a gem. Food was fantastic our meals were the best we had along our journey from Mildura to Echuca. The service and welcome from the staff was awesome, can not recommend this hotel strong enough.

Disappointing visit to the Royal. I had the lamb rack and, as shown in the photo, it was very overcooked and dry, my friend had the Portuguese Chicken Salad that was full of flavour but the chicken was dry and overcooked. The female bar staff were loverly but the outside staff who cleared up were obviously over being at work and it showed.

Rude staff cold food long wait. When we informedstaff the food was cold he said unlucky. Hospitality?

We had such a lovely experience at the Royal. The staff were amazing so friendly and went over and beyond with service. Food was fantastic and such a great central location. Make sure to call in for a pot.

Had a 300gm Scotch fillet, medium rare, pepper sauce with chips and veg.

Absolutely perfect.

Can see why it got busy while we were there.

Still waiting after an hour and a half for our meals on a monday night, this is the third an final time i will attend or recommend to anyone.award winning, i dont no why as a local i do not recommend

Nice hotel, good ambience, friendly courteous staff. We sat outside so had to get our own drinks. I had the flat head tails and chips was a good pub meal and it was nice to get a seat out the front and just kick back with a couple of beverages and watch the world go by

After doing shopping needed some food, arrived about 2.40 pm but the staff were able to provide the 3 of us so just had to say a big thank you

Ordered the scotch fillet with chips and salad. Steak and salad wasn't bad. The chips were frozen packet chips probably McCains all clumped together. Wasn't cheap.

Fabulous with friendly staff. Dined lunchtime seated outdoors. Food very good & inexpensive. Will certainly return.

Walked in and was seated. Menus arrived. That was it. After waiting, waiting waitress failed to up to take out orders. We walked out and went to a nice Cafe up the street a bit.

Food very good and service quick and friendly. The only drawback is a noise level not conducive to conversation.

Been here many times and brought family however truly disappointed Tonight as what we had ordered hadn't been given and instead of fixing the problem they happily told us they were too busy and refunded us $7.50 of our $50 order at 7: 30 at night had to rush to find another friendly place to serve us. We won't be back and will be letting friends and family know.

Male manager is rude! Just lost not only my business but a 35 room motel's business and been here many times. Well

Service in dining room is great, lovely Staff and the meals are second to none.

We recently visited 1895 The Royal for dinner on a nice weekend away in Echuca. We were very pleasantly surprised by what they have to offer - food is amazing, staff very attentive & friendly, safe COVID practices in place which made us feel very comfortable. We will be back every time in Echuca! Highly recommend to all

Great service every time! Delicious food with a wide variety of options. Delivery/take away option a big bonus too.

Team members were very pleasant and the dining area was kept clean and tidy.
The Traditional Chicken Parma portion size was quiet large.

Barry and Brandon a dynamic duo at 1895 The Royal. Their meals are spot on everytime. Reasonably priced. Great customer service. By far one of the best feeds you will get in our town. Highly recommend
