Great venue, I’ve been here a few times and the pizza is always excellent and the staff are always friendly.

This place is so homely with the taste of Italy. Maria puts her heart & soul into delivering authentic & delicious food. Pizzas and pastas are Number 1. Highly recommend. Plenty of space in a great location. And her crostoli dessert special. Unbelievable!

Awesome vegie Piadina and Fettucine Matriciana (vegefied by leaving out bacon and adding mushrooms) for lunch today. Thank you for keeping the local open and taking care of us.:)

As a homeless person I'm not a fan of their "no shoes no service policy" but they do make excellent pizza and mushroom gnocchi.

We ate an early dinner here on Friday night before the football, which seemed to be the case for a lot of the patrons, and considering how busy the restaurant was everything was excellent! I want to congratulate the staff for their attentive service, even one of the waitresses that appeared to be quite new was doing a fantastic job. The food was delicious, good wine and a nice atmosphere. I would also like to mention the table that sat next to us because of how appalled I was at their comments to and about the staff. This table were ‘mature aged’ ladies who clearly left their manners at the door and I hope their behaviour and comments did not offend the staff who were doing an exceptional job considering how busy the restaurant became in a very short period of time. We will definitely be back.

Desperately looking for a decent carbonara for dinner, we were mildly impressed by the meal. However the calamari and chips was average. Lacking imagination and a fresh salad I would question a return to here for another meal.

It's a pizza place and if you go there regularly, they remember you and treat you well. I think I was the first customer to complete a loyalty rewards card. Free hot chocolate!

Went there for take away 2 days in a row.it was a random find but so so so good.
Great pastas great pizzas great drinks.would love to go back 3 days in a row if possible.

The nicest pumpkin risotto I have ever eaten! A beautiful restaurant with friendly staff and outstanding service! I have to say it was nicer than Lygon Street.which is very hard to beat!

Ended up at this restaurant as a last resort on a Sunday night. Poor street appeal but the food and service were fantastic. Best carbonara i have eaten. Great with kids as well.

This is my second time visiting. I've had amazing "home style" pastas on each occasion. The restaurant has a very relaxed feeling with views facing south towards the Yarra river if you get a table up stairs. The lunch specials are amazing value too, though I'm happy to go anytime!

Lovely restaurant! As we were a large group some of our guests arrived a bit later and this was no issue for the staff. Food was fantastic - will definitely be back! Thank you Maria for the exceptional service.

Nicest place and kindest owner Maria who let is in to feed us when though they were closed. And made is the nicest Spaghetti bolognese and lasagna. Great food fantastic ambience. And kindest hospitality.

Great service, appalling food. Having walked past this restaurant numerous times, we gave it a go, and very much wish we hadn't. The food left nothing but regret, and cream/cheese quantity in the carbonara has put me off pasta for the foreseeable.

I really wanted to like this place as it is a local but unfortunately it completely missed the mark.

I ordered the spaghetti marinara. The seafood was not fresh and was very over cooked. The pasta most likely out of a packet and the sauce was tasteless. It also was presented with spring onions which I found bizarre.

We also shared a pizza which on paper sounded delicious but in reality, was so packed with toppings, it just fell off the base.

A positive was the gnocchi which had a rich sauce and a large serving, however it was smothered with cheese and probably wasn't necessary.

For any Italian food lover, unfortunately give this a miss. For a quick meal before the footy, then it's probably passable. It certainly has a very home cooked vibe and the prices aren't expensive, but it certainly left a bad taste in my mouth

Beautiful meal but main came out about a half second after we finished exemplary starter and sadly way too fast for us and we couldn't finish our beautiful main.

Maria is a wonderful host and her food is absolutely delicious. My favourite dish would have to be the Fettuccine Carbonara.

Not really impressed. The garlic bread/pizza was too salty for my liking and the salad with my fish was supposed to have goats cheese and beetroot, but it didn't.
The service was friendly and my wife enjoyed her Spaghetti Bolognese.

Best vegetarian pizza in town! The ambiance is great. It has that cozy homelike feeling. The owners are really friendly, enjoyed a great conversation with Maria's mom. Looking forward to visiting soon.
