Unfortunately The Piano, (Funny name and not truly descriptive for a Thai restaurant) has now closed. Penny and family had a brilliant business but Bridge Rd's demise and Covid was too great a burden to carry.

Unbelievable service, dropped by to pick up a couple of pizzas and the girl behind the counter was the most lovely, helpful and hospitable person I have come across. I left the restaurant happier than when I walked in. The pizzas were delicious. Highly recommend!

Ordered surf and turf medium rare and it was rare. They replaced the whole meal, great service. Chairs a little hard with a sore back.

My family and I have been coming to Maria’s for 5+ years. It’s the best example we’ve found in Melbourne of a family Italian restaurant and we are frequent customers for lunch specials, pizza takeaway or dining in. You can’t go wrong.

Pizza was great, Carbonara was ok, very busy because of the Footy so service was stressed. Would go again.

Sunday night is a little quiet. We ordered tortellini which came with chicken pieces, and seafood risotto. I'm not impressed by use of crab sticks as ingredients but in saying that risotto itself, taste good.

Great little restaurant, The Pizza was fabulous, and the Chips perfect. Service from the staff was a pleasure, The restaurant was full but didn't need to wait very long to be served.
I will be back. Bonus just a short walk to the MCG.

Came in with my family for an early dinner. Absolutely beautiful little place with amazing food and service. The owner was friendly and very welcoming. I'd explained I had just gotten out of a medical appointment and she didn't make me order food or anything. The cheese selection was amazing.

Top notch friendly service, and top notch food. I love a good pasta and cannot fault the consistent quality. It's a must try. You won't be disappointed

We had chicken mushroom risotto and homemade gnocchi. It’s always big portion and feed us up well. Price is reasonable especially for lunch time. Chef Maria is so kind and lovely to talk. Staffs are friendly too. I will definitely come back here ︎

She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and happy and enjoy your dining experience, even customising each dish to what suits you best.

Party of 5 we all enjoyed our meals. The garlic and herb pizza was amazing. Got to try her signature dessert well worth having. Only criticism I may have is my son ordered the steak and chips would’ve been nice if it came with a side salad.

Wonderful local find for us here in Richmond Melbourne. A real home style Italian Restaurant, all cooked with Love by the bubbly Maria.
The menu is wide and varies from perfect Pizzas & delicious Pasta Dishes to Steak and Hamburgers. Her Chips are the best!
Our favourite though are the Bass fillets, cooked to moist perfection, served with the freshest Salad I’ve ever been offered in Any Restaurant. The Wine list is not huge but it adequately covers most tastes, the prices are also very reasonable.
The huge, big enough for two? Yummo Espresso Martini served with generous shards of crunchy homemade Italian Crostino gives added delight to the usual.
Take Away makes it convenient for busy families. It’s also a lovely big space on two levels.
Situated on Bridge Road parking is plentiful as it’s just a few doors down from Punt Rd/Bridge Rd intersection.

Maria and her staff provided excellent service leading up to and throughout a special 85th birthday celebration with 20 guests. Everyone said their food was delicious. No special request was too much trouble. We will definitely go back.
