Zeehan Bush Camp and Caravan Park reviews
49Stayed here 2 nights. Camp kitchen was neat and tidy and free showers with great pressure and nice and clean. All round a great stay
Laid back bush camp, friendly hosts, good facilities, plenty of space, campfires allowed.
Came to spend 1 night on an unpowered site and stayed for 3.
Great base camp to explore the area.
A great place to stay in Zeehan, very tranquil and accommodating. We had the Glamping experience and everyone should do this at least once in their lifetime. Next level camping at its best
Loved our stay here! We met Clayton when we arrived and we were so impressed with everything! It truly is glamping in style. The amenities are kept clean, the kitchen has everything you need. There is wifi on all of the grounds. The best thing was the heated blankets in the tents! Certainly somewhere we'd stay again in Zeehan!
Clayton and his wife run a good ship, they are very hospitable and the facilities are simple but make the place feel like home.
Close walk to town and handy to most bush activities nearby.
Great for family stays.
A MUST DO experience so relaxing and everything you want and need is taking care of.
Rejuvenating
After the long day of rainy and cold weather, we were hoping for a nice place to camp and a hot shower.
After pulling in to the caravan park, we were told that our canvas pop top tent doesn’t meet the criteria of the canvas roof top tents (? !), whereas some other hard shell roof top tent was parked just a few meters away. When asked about the possibility to pay for a shower, we were turned away as well.
All of this made us feel very unwelcome. As we were too tired to drive anywhere, we had to spend a night in the parking lot. Not really recommended.
Friendly accomodating staff. Easy going. Cabin was super clean. Has everything you need. Worth a stay if your in the area
Lovely campground in a bush setting. Clean bathroom s and great camp kitchen with wood fire, tv and cooking facilities.
Had a really nice stay at this bush camp. Facilities are well maintained. Loved the camp kitchen, it’s a lovely little place to seek refuge, has a lot of options of DVD, has TV, has a an stove top oven, microwave, kettle, fridge. Laundry room has 3 washers ($4 each) and 2 dryers ($3 each). The amenities are great too, a tad small for the shower cubicle, making it hard to dress up, but not that it’s unsolvable, we can dress up at the sink area. Lawn is neatly manicured. They have powered and unpowered sites. $33 for powered, and if you stay 4 nights you get the fifth night for free.
We stayed at cabin 1 and had bad experience.the cabin was unhygienic, toilet doors can't be closed properly, uncomfortable and stinking spring bed.ran out of hot water and had tottake bath in cold water
Great camp ground. Clean amenities.
Super friendly and so helpful people who own the bush camp!
Nice bush camp, caravan park on edge of town. Friendly helpful owners that are working to improve the park.
Plenty to see and do in the area.
Friendly staff, cabin room was okay, water pressure in the shower was good. There was a kitchen in the cabin where you could cook simple meals (oven is available too). It was quite challenging for the car park, maybe because it was fully book during our stay. The sliding door in the cabin was a bit of a pain to open and close. We used the laundry facility which costs $4 for washing, $3 for drying and $1.50 for washing powder. The camp has a communal kitchen areas with plenty DVDs to choose from.
Pretty average park, staff were friendly. Could do with a bit of a face lift in places. Fair priced
Terrific if not slightly quirky caravan park.great natural setting, just ensure you time your visit to the showers if the park is busy.
A bit dated but clean. A relaxed bush type setting where you could easily rest up for a few days. The lady in the office is up there with the best. Very, very helpfull.
Lovely camping spot. Very helpful owners. They gave us heaps of information about the surrounding areas.
Second trip back, we loved it so much the first time. The camp kitchen is a cosy little hang out and the sites are well maintained. The bathroom blocks are a bit of a feature, so be sure to check them out. It'small park absolutely packed with charm. Say hi to Harry the dog who thinks he is still a tiny puppy.
Ah this place was magical, I recommend camping here you won’t be disappointed and great kitchen area.
