Zeehan Bush Camp and Caravan Park reviews
49I almost cancelled this stay. I've driven so many km in 3 days, I was tired and done. But I pushed on after a big day walking at Cradle Mountain. Rain, all day rain, but Tasmania charmed me. I loved every second of what I found and looked at and drove past. After stocking up at Zeehan IGA, I arrived at the Bush Camp. OMG! I was enchanted and blown away. Everything was perfect, and thought through. This was the perfect place to rest, snuggle under the covers and disappear into the night. Highly recommended, absolutely amazing
Ambiance and the warmth of the campfire. It was a peaceful retreat, perfect for moments of relaxation and connection with nature.
What an amazing experience we had! The glamping tents were so incredible! Everything was provided including a heater and electric blanket. There's also a kitchen, dining and lounge area available for the glampers which is incredibly convenient.
The staff were lovely and we would definitely book again.
Highly recommend
The glamping tents were fantastic, huge bed and bedding provided, there was a heater to stay warm at night, completely dry, and lots of space! Way better than a hotel room.
There is a kitchen/lounge area just for the glamping which is great, lots of cook tops and all utensils/pots provided.
What impressed me was how all the amenities are kept up to date and fresh with quality products: the kitchen, bathroom, bbq area, tents. All were very good quality.
I would definitely come back, the staff were very nice and we had a great time, this was certainly the best accommodation of the trip because the tent was so warm and cosy with the rain falling outside, and the location is great, you are very close to nature.
Highly recommend.
It's perfect place for break while driving west coast. The glamping experience was a great for me and my wife. Very beautiful location of site, clean toilets, kitchen facilities is well organised for all glamping sites have a separate fridge in the kitchen. Warm living area and the owners were so helpful with local information and making sure we were comfortable. Highly recommended. Thanks Clayton!
I absolutely loved everything here, very welcoming, awesome glamping rooms, beautiful kitchen, lounge area nice warm wood heater just everything you need was well worth the trip
Gorgeous place to stay.great location close to trial harbour as well as other areas.a must I will be back.
The bring your own camper van portion of this place is closed indefinitely. They still do glamping.
Great cabin.bit tight sround very comfortable bed for larger person like me.
Very clean and quiet as well
My husband and I LOVED our glamping stay here. We so wished we could have stayed an extra night! Thank you for such a unique glamping experience! The extra touches (such as the marshmallows upon arrival) were really appreciated and just added to our stay here. We definitely both recommend staying at Zeehan Bush Camp! Thank you, Hannah and Chris Alfonso
Great place to set up camp for a night. Has lovely toilets and showers as well as laundry facilities. Perfect place to stay on your way through the area.
Glamping at its best. The tents are amazing and the hosts provide everything you need. A wonderful experience, wish we could have stayed longer.
We stayed in one of the cabins at Zeehan Bush Camp as a young family (with two young children) and it was a lovely experience. Clean beds, great heating, hot shower, a playground for the kids and super close to Zeehan’s conveniences. The hosts were very friendly too. Thank you!
This place is all about the money.
We had a booking for 4 nights, and it was our mistake that we booked normal camp sites. The owners saw our cars and deemed that the cars were RVs. Yes we should have booked car sites. But the owners will stay l still have anyone in a car stay in an RV site.
Our cars are self sufficient, they don’t need power as we all had solar set ups. But still the owners would not let us stay. Not even for one night. It was 6.30pm. They had space.
Also if they see you have an e bike, they will charge you 10 dollars extra. Even if you have your own way of charging the thing.
The people running the park are not local tassy folk. There are pretty quick to tell you how it is and ask you to leave.
The thing is, you can camp at the mtb trail head virtually across the road. And then walk back in and use the hot showers you paid for. Just in case you encounter the same issue.
Such friendly staff and the perfect little getaway! Booked for one night and already booked another two as soon as we arrived, we were that impressed!
Glamping tents were so comfortable and the facilities on site were beyond anything we expected from the glampers kitchen to the beautiful main kitchen and I have no idea how they keep everything so clean! The owners were so helpful with local information and making sure we were comfortable.
Stayed here in one of the cabins in October and had a pleasant experience, owners were friendly and helpful. Great value for money!
Receptionist was welcoming and detailed in things to do on site. Site looks clean and practical.
Laundry is 2 x $2 per wash (approx. 30 min)
Dry is 1 x $3 per 30 min dry
Great stay. The glamping tent was a great experience with lots of lovely touches. The weather didn’t allow us to use the fire (wood, firelighters, everything supplied) so we spent a cozy night in. The glamping kitchen facilities ensured we had a good coffee before heading off. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and informative of the local sights. Suggest keeping some brekky food on hand as nothing open in town on Sunday morning. One regret- we should have booked two nights.
Powered sites only but beautiful sites. Fabulous camp kitchen and lovely hot, clean shower. Definitely recommend.
