Travelodge Hotel Hobart Airport

Great place to stay. Clean bathrooms and rooms. I highly recommend it if you are looking to stay near the aiport. Plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Clean, comfortable rooms-although some rooms might be noisy from the ventilation system (just ask or check before you accept the room).
It’s in a perfect location if you have an early/late flight.

As an easy option for accommodation near the airport this place is very good. Clean & decent sized rooms.

It was a treat ending the trip at Travelodge. The room was immaculate with a bed and pillows of the right amount of firmness. The window opens up to allow the freshess of Tassie air into the room. The distance to the airport allowed me to roll out of bed just two hours before my departure!

Nice place for a budget. Close ish to the airport and all the car hire places. Will need an uber to them but not expensive. Helpful staff and kind enough to look after our luggage while we went to markets and car hire place.

A simple and functional hotel near the airport. There is nothing near it. They have a shuttle to the airport because you are too close to get a taxi. Useful if you need to stay near the airport, but if not, then probably not a great location.

We had an issue with our flight to return to Syd.
We went at the hotel 8.30pm and the lady at the reception was no nice and so helpful for us. They were all booked out for the night but she found a room to stay anyway as that room was not completely ready but she organised to get it ready for us.
Room was quite large, nice bath and very comfortable bed.
We couldn’t be more happy with the service they provided to us.

Very accommodating when we needed to book for another night after flight cancelled. They provide a free shuttle service to airport.

Stayed 1 Night before a Flight out the next morning. Great location, very nice staff and the rooms were spotless. Free Shuttle to the Airport very handy. Recommended and would stay again.

Initially we ran into a major accommodation issue 'thanks' to a third-party vendor. Long story short, we were diverted to Travel Lodge Hobart Airport last minute as we were boarding our plane. With all our plans in disarray, we admittedly checked in quite upset. Needless to say the staff were super friendly, accommodating and gave excellent recommendations. Our frowns turned upside down and they made the stay very enjoyable. Everything from lending us an umbrella when it rained, to heating up my leftover lunch - the small stuff really made me smile. Accommodation was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Checked restaurant menu online looked good but I was very disappointed. The waiter had a clip board with 4 choices on it. All the meals were served in take away containers with disposable cutlery but at restaurant prices

The rooms are really good, comfy and spotless, the only issue is that the light does come in, in the morning. I woke up with a ray of sunshine directly in my face, having a migraine crisis, this wasn't the best way to wake up. Still, bed was very comfortable and big!
The other issue was breakfast, there are no dishes if you want to sit down and eat, I ended up eating a couple of toasts on a paperbag because they had nothing else where I could put it, choices of cereal is very limited.

Amazing staff, my girlfriend and i were isolating because we were close contact, she now contracted covid and the manager Leo (I think) genuinely showed concerned and did all they could to comfort us and make sure our stay was good.

Can't give 0 stars, food is disgraceful hair found in it etc, it's run down and poorly maintained, few options for delivery, use as a last resort only.

The food here is terrible, this hotel is grubby and the facilities are lackluster. If you have to go into hotel quarantine go anywhere else, this place is a prison. The management are unhelpful, they will hold up your deliveries and cause problems.

Did I mention that the food is terrible, every meal has been among the worst meals I have ever been served, I would sooner eat hospital food or airplane food the the slop they serve here.

The best part is you have no choice, this place is out of delivery range for any service like ubereats, they won't even let you have a microwave in your room - even if you buy your own and have it delivered.

There is an exercise yard which is literally a bitumen carpark with fences to keep you contained.
