Travelodge Hotel Hobart reviews
65It took then half a week to follow mentioned dietry restrictions. Lost my laundry.been following up with them for 10 days & they say they can't figure it out due to Easter Weekend. Worst experience ever
Excellent location central for all amenities, shopping, pier and restaurants and bars.very comfortable hotel
It was a good stay we had water views looking over the gardens so it was a plus.we also were fortunat to get a free breakfast one morning as there was a fire drill hence everybody had to exit the building. Upon entry selective guests were given the free breakfast option.
Small but clean room. Bathroom is very small and not well thought out. Shower has no screen so water just ends up everywhere. Staff are friendly and helpful. Onsite parking gets full quickly so have to park around the corner off site or find something in the street. Good location to the markets and city area.
Very good location in Hobart town! 5 minutes walk to harbour and the many cruises and tours on offer. City centre likewise. Small but decent rooms with good reliable daily cleaning, an environmental option available. Breakfast included, not an extensive menu but nice. Staff were solicitous as to my coeliac gluten free requirements, though it would be nice to see a dedicated gluten free area on future visits, reassuring indeed for the traveling coeliac. Postscript: dining room management have now implemented a dedicated gf table. Thank you so much for your consideration and professionalism.
Very nice hotel to spend some days if you are visiting Tasmania and want to stay in around Hobart city area. Great hospitality and food is amazing plus other travel services as well.
Really pleased with my stay here. Great, tidy rooms, excellent breakfast, and super friendly, helpful staff. Special mention to the woman who runs the breakfast area, she was simply outstanding. I'd recommend this hotel for sure, and I'd definitely stay here again.
Good location, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are small, 2m x 2m.
Book parking as it fills up, but the alternate parking is just as easy. I would stay again.
Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was a little scratched up and well used, but clean nonetheless. Highly recommend booking in for the breakfast, this was the best breakfast we had at a hotel while we were away! Very good value for money!
The sin in bathroom is broken and management is a mess. They charge me for breakfast after check-out even I did not go to restaurant at all.
Had a night at the Travelodge last week and while the room was nice and clean (the sheer curtain was ripped) the staff at reception were nothing short of condescending. Had a voucher for a discount but because I presented it just after the payment was made it was not allowed. The second receptionist was having a good laugh at our expense. Very unprofessional behaviour. Parking was horrendous and hard for anything bigger than a mini. Never, ever go there again!
Although the room is small, it is very clean and the staff are lovely. The breakfast menu should be changed alternatively specifically for guest staying more then a week. The coffee is standard not the best one for the breakfast, I would like to have a premium cappuccino. Made by a barista. Internet is so slow. I ended up using my data.
Location is good, very near to the waterfront. Rooms are clean, guest laundry, parking. Breakfast is good
Staff isnt friendly and is not willing to help. The rooms are too small and parking is charged extra. It wont be an option for our next visit to Hobart.
Not even 1 star it deserves
I wish I could give less than 1 star or no star
there is no cleaning happening here
Old rusty furniture not enough plugs to charge a phone
Some rude receptionists
Walls are made of paper
Can hear the neighbors pissing
Seems the house keeper is ruling the place
Complaints going nowhere
Nice location near the wharf of Hobart. Room was ok size for 2 adults. Bathroom is a but small. Vanity did not have room for toiletries of 2 people. There is no free parking available during day however hotel has parking for ~$12 a day
Great for what we paid. Was close to salamanca, docks, and in CBD. Executive room was sparkling clean and comfy and staff was friendly.
Very convenient location, excellent value-for-money, group friendly, good
quality internet connection
Make sure when you ring up and book a room - get confirmation in writing. I called up and was quoted a price, when I called back, they quoted me a hirer price and said “sorry you misunderstood the room you were getting for that price”. Spoke to the manager and he was firm that his staff couldn’t have quoted an incorrect price. I would NEVER stay at such a place if the experience is a lie even before booking.
A little bit crowded at breakfast, the room very crowded.not enough place for my suitcase.just for one I mean
