Touchwood Cafe

Visited here in June while on my honeymoon. The cafe is very cute with nice views. Staff were super friendly. The highlight though was the amazing fluffy oversized home-made scones! I recommend going mid-morning when the scones are freshly baked out of the oven. Amazing!

Tried their coffee and it's honestly not too bad! The place has a good vibe and the windows that overview the city are just perfect there's a little gallery that sells local products too. We couldn't find the entrance at first, but walk into the alley and you'll see the cute shopfront!

Loved this place. Perfect location. Friendly, attentive staff & great food. We had the abalone & the Rueben. Both tasty & fresh. Definitely recommend!

Food was great and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. The view for breakfast is awesome. My kids had scones and they were absolutely delicious.

We had a lovely late lunch here - Scallop Pie and a Wagyu Beef with fresh salads! Such friendly staff too, definitely recommend.

We took our friend from New Zealand there to try a scallop pie for the first time. He loved it, so happy that it was a good experience for him. The owners were so helpful and accommodating. You must visit.

The most incredible scones we have ever eaten! Such an amazing little town and an even more amazing cafe and staff! Will definitely be back even if we have to come from Victoria again just to eat them

Absolutely amazing! I would give 10 stars The service was awesome and so very friendly and the place is Just so cosy. It was busy when we got there and I'm so stoked we managed to get a table for 3 of us.
The calamari was soooooo DIVINE and extremely tender. Not oily or hard to chew like what we had a Hurseys the night before. The salad was just enough and that was so mouth watering to.
The open chicken burger was so tender and not over loaded with extras. Just right with the filling. Avocado, spinach and tomato and slice of bacon.
Fries topped it off nicely.
Don't even go there with the scones. Oh dear me soooooo huge and fluffy and they come with ample jam and cream. Simply the best I've had!
Such an amazing business with the gallery and the accommodation down the side.
When ever your in Stanley do stop in and have a meal and coffee.you won't regret it. The meals are a good size to esp for the prices. Home made is simply the BEST and local. ️ Thank you Chris and Gretta and staff. We will be back

Stopped here for lunch and the meals were very tasty and the service was very good. The ladies here were very friendly and welcoming. The outside tables have a great view of the bay and Stanley.

Comfy and great facilities. Central to town and a walk to everything. Hosts are great and caring.

One of the few Stanley businesses who bothered to open. Lovely breakfast & lunch. One of the few Stanley businesses that bothered to re open on the June long weekend after COVID 19 openings. We came for our regular visit to Stanley for 3 nights to find this was one of the only eateries open. Lucky the food was great and the service lovely.

A small town that thrives on tourism and being able to trade after so long with restrictions we thought we’d visit this town, out of the many we could have as it’s a favourite and new they would need our business. Thanks Touchwood for opening, you obviously “get it” more than the other businesses. We will return and support you again and again.

Recommend a stop here for a great start to a weekend. It is an intimate area & tables when we were there ranged from 2 -4 people setting. If after bigger table ask as they potentially are able push tables together, however when we attended it was pretty popular however it become quieter closer towards the last hour of service.
