Beautiful pumpkin soup and then followed by rather large chicken, bacon and mushroom crepe. Large servings excellent service and flavours. Recommend a try if you are passing thru I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Really great country Cafe. Took a turn here en route to Cradle Mountain for a break and no regrets.

We went there for a light lunch, they have a very nice indoor and outdoor sitting area.
Cute teacup and they have a nice coffee and sweets options and lunch options too. It's a nice setting cafe in a very historic town, always love Oatlands, most of the buildings there are sandstone and with the cafe there It makes the town more alive

The food was delicious. But my friend and I shared as we didn’t want too much. Very disappointed that we had a pay an extra $2.00 for a another plate so we could share. I have never in all my travels come across this before. $2.00 to put a plate in the dishwasher unbelievable

We went with a group, Staff were fantastic, all meals came out quickly and the Chicken Crepe I had was sensational. All members of the group loved their meals. Desserts were amazing. A nice atmosphere with a beautiful open fire to greet you in Winter time. Well worth the drive and a nice town to have a look around. Five stars *****

Such a great place! Oatlands itself is absolutely beautiful! Can’t believe it’s not featured as much in travel brochures. This place was GREAT! Huge meals and so well priced.really quirky with a big fireplace and all. Absolutely 10/10 recommend.

Best Devonshire tea. Scones were delicious & couldn't taste baking soda. The pancake was enormous but also delicious. Great to eat real cream & yummy jam.

We were lucky to have lunch at the Pancake n Crepe shop at Oatlands today. The bacon, mushrooms n chicken crepe was great as well as the coffee. The staff were lovely and great service in a historic stable building circa 1837.

We ordered a mixed berry ($20) and Canadian maple ($16) with 2 drinks - banana and honey smoothies ($8 each). The menu stated that the pancakes came with 2 pancake each. When the pancakes came out and there was only 1 pancake on each plate, the mixed Berry was a small pancake and the Canadian maple was a bit bigger. We enquired about the pancakes and they told us that they needed to update their menu's.
We finished out pancakes and we was still waiting on our drinks. When we did receive our drinks we had to get them put in take away cup's and the lids didn't fit on the cup's, just to top off the experience. The pancakes were nice though and the service was also friendly.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Friendly staff and tasty food. They got our order wrong initially, but immediately went back and the chef quickly whipped up a new one. Great service

One of the nicest meals we've had in Tasmania so far! Devonshire tea was delicious - the softest biggest scones I've ever had, with homemade jam and rich creamy. My partner had the nachos and banana smoothie and they were delicious. Great family atmosphere in a beautiful building. Prices were very reasonable and portions very generous. Will definitely be back.

If you miss this place, you'll be missing one of the best Cafe experiences in Tasmania!
The menu and food are extremely satisfying and generous.
The staff are so welcoming and have a sense of genuine old style service.
I would rate it 10 stars if I could

We love stopping here whenever we head to the north of the state. Lovely outside area where we can sit with our dogs, or in winter grabbing a table inside near the food. Yummy food and great coffee!

Disappointed as drove up from Hobart specially to try and called in advance to check they were open and were told yes until 3pm. We got there at 2pm to find it closed! When we called to find out why we were told closed as was too hot and a bit quiet. What a shame and won't risk driving up again to try another time as who knows why they might suddenly close early again!
