The Pancake and Crepe Shop reviews
42Unbelievable! We have a dog so water and complimentary fresh poached chicken came out for her… delicious Devonshire tea and fresh crumpets for us. Staff cannot do enough for you and do friendly. Already worked out what I am having tomorrow (old fashioned 1970 recipe cream bun!)
Offering a menu with limited choices & a specials board, to accomodate most appetites. This relaxing dining experience is a must do. The staff are bubbly & welcoming. Prices are value for money.
I like coming to places like this. The service is great and they have a good selection of food.
Had the Guinness meat pie with mash and peas absolutely worth it we’ll done guys I’d give 10 stars ️ if I could
Amazing scones and coffee, excellent waiting staff.
I wish all young people had these service qualities.
Well worth a tip $$
Value for money for the portion size. Had the beef steak pie with tomato and cheese - pie filling was flavorful. Also had hot chocolate which was a huge cup!
Everything on the menu was larger than life. Their brownie is absolutely massive and delicious.
We indulged in the maple pancakes, light fluffy and the ice cream was the best ever. The latte was the best had in Tas. Cherry conserve with the Devonshire tea was an unexpected delight.
Our group of 7 stopped here on our way to Launceston
Great beverages and food and most importantly 5 star service
Very enjoyable. A lovely roaring fire, good food and excellent coffee in a country town. Couldn't ask for more.
We are tasmanian but thought we would just trip up the road to check out what oatlands is up to. The big eateries touted did not look the least inviting but yours certainly did. Wow! Great food, great service, brilliant on every spectrum. Well done. We will be back. Thank you so much!
My lord these crepes are good. Lovely shop and the town is so steeped with history. Also dog friendly!
The staff are always friendly. Had an awesome fish and salad there. Had a steak sandwich today it was great. There pancakes are good too.
Great meal. The scallop and prawn curry crepe was delicious and had a generous side salad. The Devonshire scones were really good and the berry jam was divine. Staff were great and very friendly. Hope to come back to this one if we can make it.
Bacon wrapped pork sausages taste as good as they look, actually everything tastes as good as it looks Thanks mick and team. Fred and I love coming in weekly to see what yumminess you have created
The lunch items at this place are fantastic. I would not ever choose potato salad but in this instance it was worth eating! The scones are huge. They had a collection of other sweets which were reasonably priced.
Lovely food, all dishes are served with a generous portion of season side salad, so yammy and healthy! Best scallop pie on Tassie!
Hot chocolate was delicious and they were happy to check ingredients of the hot chocolate powder when I asked if it had dairy in it. Super helpful staff. The only thing I would say is that the floor was quite uneven where we say and there was a high chair at our table. If a baby were in the high chair, I might be concerned about the uneven stone floor.
I just want lemon pancake every day since I came to this place.
I was thirsty and by curiosity I asked for a lemon pancake. It was so refreshing to eat it that i cannot believe it, didn't need water to eat that. Probably it's a normal pancake as I never had one before, but just worth the visit to this nice place.
