The Neptune Grand reviews
26Nice place with great bar! Lack vegetarian options though. Chef made us yummy stir fry on request!
We had a lovely meal Garlic prawns and Seafood platter both were really nice great sizes
It was fully booked so they were very busy but the service was excellent and didn't have to wait long for our meals.highly recommend
Couldn't recommend the Neptune highly enough. We had a fabulous time. The food was amazing with a brilliantly exciting, thoughtful menu for the foodie, family or group. We'll done Chef your amazing! The atmosphere and art was beautiful. A really nice vibe with genuinely friendly helpful staff.
Good meals. The only downside for us was the uncomfortable chairs, but everything else was great.
Devils wedges - Sounds interesting, does not deliver. Too many flavors that don't go together.
Crumbed scallops - super small, salad is a waste of space.
Daily special seafood fried rice - the seafood was plentiful and cooked nicely. Nothing else about this was nice. Way too many elements. Barely any rice. Super wet, not how fried rice is supposed to be cooked. Totally disjointed dish, didn't work even a little bit.
It has been our experience that places with giant menus rarely do anything well. Slim the menu down, do a few things and do them well.
Absolutely terrible. Tonight was the worst meal I have had in years. We have been regulars at Neptune and Seabrook for four years and it has been hit and miss and when it changed to Woking Wombat we loved it. The menu was great and the food yummy. We recommend it to everyone. Since going back to the Pub style the quality took a dive. I just felt like something healthy tonight and as there is hardly a vegetable choice on the menu, I asked for stirfry vegetables. As soon as they arrived I could see they were drowning in soy sauce. I mentioned it to the waitress, but ate it as I was in a group and didn't want to make a fuss. No noodles, rice or protein, just a bowl of thrown together mostly beans, cabbage and some snow peas and carrots swimming in over sweet soy sauce $24. I did quietly mention it to the waitress again at the end of the meal, but she said sorry we can't give you a discount, although I didn't ask for one. Sorry but we won't be back and neither will several of our friends and Mainland visitors.
