Great atmosphere, Surf and turf was very nice although sauce was quite runny. Seafood chowder was nice but seemed awfully close to chicken and corn soup with a toss of squid and prawn for the price.

Great pub to have a feed. Stopped past with the family and had a good feed looking out towards the river & mountains. Service was good, servings were big and the food was tasty. Roast of the day was delicious and everything else we ordered was good too. The "half serve" options are good for those with a smaller appetite too. Recommended!

Best pub food I've had in a while. Parmi was big, calamari was delicious, salad dressing tasty and steak tender. Not one bad word to say, I will definitely be back next time I'm down this way.

Uber confused as the previous reviews are mostly positive. But we had a below average experience; atmosphere was almost nil, surf and turf had a very strong seafood smell, a steak that was drowning in a bright yellow butter sauce. The other meals were also so so.

Lovely food serviced by friendly staff. Very large serves, so take an empty stomach if you eat there.

Great family friendly pub. The kids love it here, particularly when the arcade machines are operating. Friendly service and very welcoming. Meals are great size and reasonably priced. A favourite of ours locally.

Really enjoyed the chicken Schnitzel burger w/ chips and the Pagan Cider. Lovely cosy atmosphere.
Even enjoyed the bar staff singing along to radio tunes.
I'll be going back for sure, with the view of upgrading my 4 star review to a 5 star.

Nice, family friendly atmosphere, with a great range of menu items. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely warm fire in winter.

Was here to have a meal, the staff were lovely but they seemed to be scattered and weren't sure of where what meal goes where. It may of been new staff, as I have been here previous and the staff were not like this.

The seafood chowder is still yum but the chocolate brownie is the absolute height of decadent indulgence. OMG!

Loved this place for a quality feed at short notice.
Beef Schnitzel and Cold pint were perfect.
Great taste, good sizing. Very happy, good venue to drop in for lunch or dinner whilst passing through.

Wow, had lunch here today and was so surprised wonderful atmosphere and the meals were so delicious (thank goodness I ordered the half serve)

Fantastic meals, well priced, huge variety that caters for vegetarians and vegans. Generous serves and lovely staff!

Some nice relaxed dinning with good sized portions at a reasonable prise. The staff were friendly and easy going, the food delivered in reasonable time and simple but tasty. Portion sizes were good to huge (Schnitzel is huge) depending on what was ordered. We'll likely be back next time we feel like a laid back dinner with nice views of the Huon River.

Pleasant staff. Food not too bad. Wood heater but the room seemed to amplify people talking which made it hard 2 hear friend sitting opposite.
