The food was fresh, tasty and everyone that we interacted with was friendly, and did whatever they could to make our experience exceptional. We had 3 generations of family, with numerous and varying food needs - they made it all work! With a smile and everything was delicious. Plus we made mistakes with our bookings and they bent over backwards to take care of
us. A brilliant experience - Thank you.

I did not stay here the night I came here for dinner two nights in a row. It was that good.

It was quite an experience for someone who visited Tasmania for the first time. The place is 50 minutes drive from Hobart so that was a bit inconvenient for me as most of my activities are in Hobart. Apart from that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The food was so so good and the staffs were super nice and friendly. Special shout out to Bree as she was the one who happened to served me on different nights for dinner. I might come back some day to explore the surrounding area.

Lovely venue to celebrate a milestone birthday. Nice fresh food priced very reasonably. The staff were fantastic ensuring everyone’s requests were met. We will be back in the near future for sure.

A pleasure in the 'wilds' of southern Tasmania. Pleasant hotel rooms, and a restaurant of a high standard. The bar is a typical country pub of a high standard.

Perfect service from the first call to attending reception and a great pre dinner and dinner service. So quite in the evening and enjoyed a delicios meal in the tavern. Definitely a place to add a stay.

Good value for money, the bistro atmosphere and decore was very good, unfortunately there wasn't enough coffee provided in the units for us to have coffee in the morning and no milk was provided.

Restaurant here was great and family friendly. They catered to all of us really well and attentive service despite us arriving just before kitchen closing for lunch. Great view of the river as well. Definitely will return.

Great meals! I'm from Cairns and ALL the food here tastes so damn fresh! And I mean all of it, almost cleaned my main plate but needed room for dessert! Lovely atmosphere and great service, will definitely be a usual place to dine.

Kermandie has wonderful accomodation, food and staff.
I was booked in for one night and needed to stay unexpectedly for another night. Michelle was amazing in accomodating me for another night. Found me a room and was so helpful. First night was in the lodge which are self contained rooms very comfy. Second night was in the hotel which has excellent breakfast lounge with all you need.
Michelle was so happy and made you feel like nothing was an issue. What a credit she is to the place.
Meals are 5+, it’s a must stay!

The staff were fantastic, polite and helpful. The food is amazing, I suggest that if you are not staying there but are in the area, do yourself a favour and eat there. Parking is easy. There is no lift so it's up stairs with the luggage. If reception is closed head to the bar. There is a breakfast room with great views, very comfortable. Our room was a family room, a double bed, then a partition type wall with 2 single beds. I would say the old building has had some renos over the years. It has great character and charm. Not exactly 2 rooms but comfy, lovely clean bathroom.
