The Brunswick Hotel reviews
29Food was pretty good, I found the live music a little loud as it was hard to have a conversation with my friends
Great chicken parmagiana selection. The chicken is always nice and moist. You can eat inside or outside most times. Service is pretty quick.
It is a basic simple backpakers/hotel in an old building. However the rooms are well kept, clean and good enough. We had an ensuite bathroom that too be fair was very small, but worst case you could use the shared bathrooms. Location is very good in the heart of everything, with a Woolworths across the road and close to restaurants and other shops. The pub downstairs is nice with live music (not sure when though). It is value for money in my view.
Alright. To start. Meals are great. I had the sirloin steak. A little expensive but apart from that pretty good. Good service but staff were a bit eh. Unsure. Hard to explain. They are nice enough but they are very confused on everything. Not great at explaining. Good with food allergies though.
Anyway I rate a 4 because of the service. Drinks are a bit expensive and meals abit on the expensive side aswell.
Good experience
Great service - they were happy to move us to new seating to accommodate a friend with a bad back. Yummy food and a friendly atmosphere.
Service was a hit and miss - the atmosphere seemed quite eerie and dark inside with no music and very dim lit dining area.
Fantastic service and the food was delicious. While I couldn't finish my parma because the serve was MASSIVE I was really impressed with the value for money. The haloumi fries were out of this world! We will come back here next time we are in Hobart.
The food was delicious, shame about the acoustics.couldn't hear our own conversation for the sound of everyone else.
The accomodation was pretty pathetic. Bunk beds straight out of a 11 year olds scout trip, no ensuites or proper linen. The noise was also outrageous and if you stay here don’t plan on sleeping. At least the wifi was good.
