Avoid this cafe. We ordered fish and chips ($60 for 3 people, food only), and were thoroughly disappointed. The fish had the texture of microwaved food, was soggy on the outside and cold in the middle. We felt that it wasn't even safe to eat. The chips were very ordinary and nothing had been salted, which left us each with a box of dodgy, tasteless landfill. Unfortunately we had take-away and it wasn't possible or even worth the drive to return the mistake. I would suggest finding another food outlet or going hungry as an alternative to eating at this cafe. Richmond had some great attractions, but this wasn't one of them.

We had breakfast here and it was hearty and delicious. The coffee was very good too and the staff were accommodating and friendly.

Fish ok, crispy surface a bit thick. Fisherman Basket stuffed with crab stick, calamari ring, scallop not that fresh.

It's a great cafe with your traditional takeaways, fridge of cakes and quiches and salad rolls etc, and the BEST PIZZA on Friday and Saturday nights till 2030. You can also get a great cup of OOMPH COFFEE. There is a mini mart as well. I judge it solely as a fast food takeaway and give it 5 stars because it is far better than in purports to be. When tour busses pull in it does get a little busy. I do have to tell you that I live local and coffee and eat there regularly so factor that into your decision to eat there. I also like the new owners Barry and Jeff and they are making great changes to place.
