I can't talk more highly of The Barrel Collective. Michael served tailored drinks to our flavour profile from a unique selection of Tasmanian spirits.

Fantastic knowledge of the industry and what is happening in Tasmania.

Please please give them a visit. Best thing you can do.

Wonderful bar and the guys are extremely knowledgeable about all the drinks that they stock. Highly recommend a visit to talk to Michael & Jake.

Good menu, great chats. The service was great in this cosy little bar. Only reason it was 4 and not 5 stars for me was the whisky sour was great, but not worth $26.

Great little place with a hefty selection of Tassie gins. Really friendly service and was a good vibe, even on a mid-week visit.

Really friendly staff, great (rocket fuel) cocktails, advice, and range of gin overall. Would come back in a heartbeat! Was a great place to visit when coming to Launceston for the first time. Great vibe in the bar too, with seamless indie tunes playing at a good volume throughout the night. This is a great place for either a date, or catch up chats with long lost friends. Time disappears here! Huge shout out to Michael who started us off with a great gin tasting palette, and Jake and Hannah were our best mates for the rest of the night. There's no shortage of great options here if you're a gin connoisseur. Example palette in photo attached.

Honestly- the best espresso Martini I've ever had and top notch Tasmanian spirits made into extremely high quality cocktails. Lovely and knowledgeable bartenders

My partner and I ventured into this bar on a whim while visiting Launceston. Neither of us are particularly knowledgeable about gin, so when walking in and realising it was a gin bar we did not know what to expect. The young gentlemen behind the bar was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we sat down. Recognising we did not know too much about gin, he was quick to ask us our preferences in alcohol and gave us multiple options, providing us with a wide range of locally produced Tasmanian gins to suit our palettes.

Good location, great ambience, knowledgeable and attentive bartender. Definitely recommend this place as a pre/post-dinner destination.

This is a little Gem within the CBD. Always has a good selection of on tap beer and a wide range of spirits. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about thier product. A great meeting place if venturing out for a meal or a good night out drinking.

We stumbled across this gem of a bar after dinner one evening. And WHAT A FIND! So many gins, great mixers, and somehow everyone in the place was keen for a chat. Really friendly, relaxing vibe, I will definitely return to try a few more gins!

We discovered this place on our first night during our recent stay in Launceston. Michael is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We learnt so much about Tasmanian gins and got other tips about our stay too. I’d never had gin as good as I’d had at that bar, and am now looking forward to exploring it more. The place itself is cosy and beautifully designed. Highly recommended!

Cracking little bar serving very fresh local Tassie beers and ciders, swing by if you want a chilled out vibe and don't want the bustle of St Johns

Stumbled across this great little bar showcasing only Tasmania beer, wine and spirits. The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. Well worth checking out for a pre or post dinner drink
