Had a great meal with the 2 families tonight whilst visiting from NSW. All of us had different favourite meals but each were great. Brock did a great job serving us and was very accommodating. Will eat there again.

We were there on Monday night with a group of friends, it wasn't even full booked, but the staff were slow and very distracted. They forgot us, and even having told them we wanted individual meals, the plates came late and separated, making us eat cold. Nobody apologised to us, and the worse is my calamari tasted old oil fried. I wouldn't choose this restaurant again. Overpriced

Amazing service. Fantastic food. Great views. We celebrated a 50th Birthday and everything was perfect. Thank you for a fantastic day out.

STUNNING food and excellent service. Possibly the best meal in Hobart (or anywhere) I have had in years. Great range, exceptional quality and such a nice atmosphere. Only critique is that one of us ordered a 'feed me' menu, the other a seafood platter - without us realising they provided a feed-me for two people on a single set of plates (so we assumed it was for one) as well as the seafood platter. When queried we were told it was 'per number of people at the table'. Not complaining about the amount or quality of food - but the menu and staff were not clear on this and didn't understand what we were trying to order. Made for a very expensive meal. That said, I'd go back anytime, and highly recommend, as it is truly a great place (will just beware of menu-clarity in future).

Dinner Thursday night with friends. Food best described as ordinary. Chicken and fish dishes were very basic lacked any sort of quality. Very disappointing for a restaurent. Not even pub food standard. Definitely would not recommend dinner.

Fresh seafood and amazing service. We paid $120 (quite pricey) for the platter however loved the wide variety of seafood options. Definitely got my cravings satisfied!

We dined here tonight to celebrate my Father-in-laws belated 80th birthday.

Our waiting staff Joel and Brock were so interactive and informative with our menu which we loved. They had great things to say about the food and recommendations for pairing wine.

Our experience was fabulous, fun and everything tasted great-we also loved the wine pairing suggestions and the complimentary bubbles!

Beautiful location, would highly recommend the outdoor table with their stunning view of the harbour. Highly recommend the caesar salad & the large variety of cocktails on offer!

Came in due to half price oysters, which we confirmed on entry with staff. Wernt offered a receipt prior to paying bill which seemed high for what we had. When we left, re read offer posters and all posters applied until Jan 31st. Well played.

Service was so bad received wrong meals once we received the right meals the salmon was cold the chicken schnitzel was so overcooked and the staff we rude

Absolutely delicious food! Amazingly kind and helpful staff from waiters, to bar tenders, and to kitchen staff everyone has a smile on their face and is easy to talk too! The food is well priced considering how good it is! Would easily pay more for a meal this good! The drinks menu is extensive and well rounded! The location is hard to beat and the restaurant itself is clean and tidy! Overall can continue to highly recommend T 42 as it continues to push out extremely tasty meals with high quality service!

A group of 6 of us enjoyed burgers, steaks and salmon. All meals were fantastic, however, we waited well over an hour. The manager kindly offered us a complimentary drink.

Searched high and low all around Salamanca for a nice sounding Atlantic Salmon dish which wasn’t inspired with Japanese flavours and didn’t have anything too unusual in the dish. The salmon here was great. Crispy skin perfect and a nice lemon sauce with asparagus and a potato rosti (although this has too much Parmesan and was a bit over powering). I then went for the raspberry and pistachio semi freddo. The serving size was great and it presented wonderfully.

Delicious meals with a great view. Excellent service. The two salads were fantastic. Really full after them after skipping breakfast. Probably could share one to be honest. Great ingredients. Menu hasn't changed for years but it's still just as good. Recommended

Stumbled across this gem and could not be happier. With views of the Harbour it's tucked behind a fish n chip shop and if a stranger hadn’t told us there was coffee around the corner we would have missed out. We were on a tight time schedule and the friendly staff had the food on our table within 5 minutes of ordering. We had the green bruschetta, and granola bowl - both were delicious, and very filling. Bonus - when we came to pay we were told they had a half price special on the weekend! An absolute steal - we’ll be back tomorrow. Thanks guys!

Absolute pleasure to dine. The staff were outstandingly friendly and helpful and the food was beautiful. Really nice, clean environment.

Just popped in for drinks, but nice location o the marina. Good selection of wines by the glass. Lots of Tassie options.

Extremely disappointing. Slow service, food wasn’t anything special. Bottle of water given to us for the table had something floating around in the bottom of the bottle.

Slow service, took forever to get menu and water. Staff didn't know what red wine/shiraz they had. Scruffly dressed staff. Food OK nothing spectacular.
Location great, view over harbour.

When ordering in a group, meat meals may be overcooked. Expected at most restaurants when youbhave a large group. I still ate it all ha ha
