Tasmania Golf Club

The first time I had a plant based meal at this golf club I ordered a vegie burger. I got a tasty black bean burger on a bed of rosti with roasted veg and tofu and a lovely dressing. Best ever. However I ordered the same again this week looking forward to a delicious meal but not to be.
What I got was what looked like a thin potatoe cake (just guessing) in a bread roll with a bit of lettuce. So glad I asked for chips as well or I would have left there rather hungry.
Have ticked this place off my list of where to take visitors. Such a shame being such a nice view.

Nope, not impressed. To the Tasmanian, Guys the course is in a real state. Not sure if it always looks like this but it’s bad. I will elaborate. I’ll start with the club house. The restaurant is good, but that’s it. Cleaner needs to be sacked ASAP and someone hired who actually cares what the place smells and looks like. The fairways are in need of repair, so many divots both repaired and unrepaired. The rough was just that. Very very rough. If you can’t be bothered to even clean up around the removed tress. Why remove them. All it
Would take is a month of serious on all the holes and roughs and it would look spectacular. As it is, it’s like the cut the fairways out of the bush and just left them. The greens, they would be ok. If someone knew how to install a hole. Almost all the holes were lifted as was the green. Trying to get a clean putt away, just wasn’t possible. You had to hit it to hard or to soft to avoid the turns.

So much potential, maybe under someone else’s watch.

The golf course is an absolute must for anyone visiting tassie with a great layout, big greens, fairways and greens in fabulous condition. Extremely disappointed that 3 of our group ordering off the dinning room menu and the other ordered a steak sandwich off the pub menu and were told we had to sit outside instead of in the restaurant which was separated by a piece of glass because one was not off the restaurant menu. Such a great day ruined by a ridiculous standard set by management which really needs to be looked at.

Food was nice but took a very long time to come and they need better access from carpark to restaurant

The meals on the whole were good although tha apple and rhubarb crumble was barely lukewarm. The service was polite but on the slow side.

View was incredible as ive been told, atmosphere was lively and vibrant and food was delicious.
My only two complaints was 2/3 waitresses serving us were grumpy and quite hostile towards my table and a few of us received a few creepy paranormal/haunting experiences in the bathroom and with a self portrait painting in paticular.

Had dinner at Tasmania Golf Club on Saturday night with friends. Food was pretty good, but for some reason the service was thin on the ground and as the evening was drawing to a close a request for coffee was denied as the " machine had been turned off". I looked around, and there would have been about 20 people still seated. My immediate thought was, how can this establishment turn down business when their clients sre still in situ. Baffled me. So lift your game TGC, because I won't be going back unless you do!

Great service at the golf shop. The course was very nice and in good condition. Pace of play was perfect. The putting greens were very good and matched the greens on the course. Facilities were nice.

Awesome club and course. Some very memorable holes/views. Obviously gets a bit of use but greens and tee boxes great. Enjoyed the scallops, chips n gravy + pale ale and whiskey chaser!

Pretty good feed, good menu and reasonably priced. Probably not the best place to bring young kids, not a great deal for them to do. Except colouring in.

Fantastic little spot this. Good sized meal and an assortment of tassies finest on tap. A real hole in one!

Ladies evening get together during covid 19 distance dining. Staff were friendly and courteous dining area well presented.
Food very nice and a bonus with small sized meals if desired.
Not fine dining but definately reasonably priced and plentiful.

Bounded by water on three sides, the Tasmania Golf Club is set on the picturesque Barilla Bluff, jutting out into a spectacular natural harbour (Pitt Water). This challenging, undulating course is characterised by tightish, tree-lined fairways, that lead you to well bunkered, breaking greens - towering eucalyptus are among many tree varieties that provide good, but not overly dense separation to the holes.

Our experience at Tasmania Golf Club for our wedding was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped foot onto the stunning grounds! The service, staff and food exceeded our expectations.

Gerard, the venue manager, was a true gem throughout the entire process. His attention to detail and commitment to making our day seamless and stress-free were remarkable. Gerard's expertise and genuine care added an extra layer of warmth and assurance, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment without a worry in the world.

We have only received our sneak peak photos back, but every angle is stunning thanks to the incredibly beautiful background the golf course provides. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience for their significant moments.

Attended a Wedding Reception here, absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend this venue.

Course was immaculate. A few blind tee shots had me guessing and the views are sensational

I can only speak for the restaurant which we visit regularly. The staff are absolutely fantastic and always make you feel welcome. The food is brilliant and consistent. We’ve taken all our visiting family from the mainland and they r blown away. Try the brownies too, but save some for me!
