Tamar Valley Wine Centre reviews
34Went for lunch with some friends, we ordered platters (cold) and an hour later after much angst we enquired on how the platters were going only to be told that 30 elements take time to put together, in a rather angry manner, obviously something else had gone wrong but we got the aggro lame excuses, lift your game
No pics to show as all (pizza, soup and pasta) were gone in a sec! Delicious food (it was worth to wait!) and great service. Definitely we will visit this place again
Yum pizza nice thin crust with great flavour and wine was AMAZING too. Everything you need in one place
Really cosy and relaxed place. Had a lovely chat with Adam and an even better selection of wines of the Tamar Valley and surrounds. Would really recommend if you are short in time, but still want to explore the wines! Thank you Adam!
This place has amazing food and service; ordered an iced chocolate and Adam shook it up like a complete professional (super impressive)
Gorgeous garlic prawn pasta however if you see the quail on the menu I strongly recommend that you give that a try.
Very lucky to have this beautiful restaurant in the Exeter community.
We shared a few local glasses of wine here. Beautiful spot with some nice chats with the owner’s daughter. Definitely stop here!
First visit was on 05 October - great! Decided to go back again on 02 November - unfortunately from this experience won't be going back. Food was not good - not good at all. Asked about two different wines - both not in stock. At 7: 45pm - we called over waitress and asked for a cheese platter - she came back and said that the kitchen had closed due to the penalty rates that needed to be paid to staff (!) - we queried this as the venue is open until 10: 00pm and at our visit on 05 October - we ordered a cheese platter at around 8: 30pm and that was not a problem. Very disappointed - had hoped we had found a local spot to support on a regular basis.
Fast becoming my favourite place for food and wine. Service is always good, food is consistently amazing and there is lots and lots of wine:)
Gino & I enjoyed our meal very much, Additionally good value & super fresh, along with great hospitality
Dropped in for a pizza this evening which was loaded with cheese and salami generously, the home made chilli sauce really hit the spot. Great service and a warm environment.
Beautiful platter for two, great service by a very friendly and helpful Carlia and lovely wine!
Stumbled upon this place driving to Beauty Point, had a cuppa and cake and later took my husband there for dinner. Really great food, genuine people. Great idea love going to one place to sample multiple vineyards!
Great food dishes at very reasonable prices and a good place to explore Tassie wines and beers.
The food is excellent!
Definitely compliments to the Chef.
All cakes, cheesecakes cooked on the premises.
HUGE, range of wines and all sorts of drinks, very "Wine Bar" with lounges etc.
Platters of Tassie specialities were very popular at the next table to us.
Can be booked for functions, one there today when we were there.
The Servers were friendly and efficient, ditto the Boss.
Hubby and I will definitely return!
