We stayed for 2 nights, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were given a late checkout. Close to the beach.

Peaceful place to stay. Very close to beach points. Hot water runs quickly. Toaster, hairdryer, kettle, iron pressing are available. Side tables are fancy with bed lights.
2 seater sofa and a dine table for 2 are available in the same room

Great staff.friendly old fashioned service.room clean.wonderful shower.spectacular location.short walk to the beach.highly recommended

Stay here for tonight's fantastic & so close to Spirit of Tasmania just around the corner so to speak with the staff been so helpful and friendly really recommended to stay here on your on your first day or night in Tasmania or going back to Melbourne you won't be disappointed

Wonderful place to stay, 5 minute walk to town, spa bath, clean and comfortable, great staff and facilities.

If you are booking the Sunrise Devonport because it is affordable, clean, large rooms and friendly staff you have come to the right place. To be honest, for what I paid for my nights accommodation and got more than I expected from room 16.5 stars.

Great and cosy motel located on a very quiet street away from the town centre. Clean and comfy facilities.

I had an unusual 2 weeks stay, the room is beautiful, food is delicious and the staff are so nice, friendly and considerate! I definitely get attached with this beautiful place after the two weeks of staying. I definitely love this motel and the people here, especially the reception ladies? Highly recommend ️? Hopefully I can be back someday ️

Very basic motel but clean.
We had a 2 bedroom suite, bit of a stretch as you walked in to a double bed, kitchenette and couch and bathroom in one room, with a small room off that with single beds. No privacy if you are in the first room.
Breakfast was included and was basic but very nice. Bread, pancakes, yogurt fruit and cereals on offer.

Friendly and Central. Spacious family room with coffee pod coffee machine and complimentary breakfast. Friendly staff, great restaurant on site. 10 minute walk into CBD and around the corner from Maritime museum, coastal walking track, Highly recommended.

They were so accommodating. Got us into the room early as we were so tired. Friendly staff and lovely breakfast.

Convenient and clean. Decent breakfast included. Very old school motel, but if you just need a place to crash before or after the ferry it does the job.

This review is solely based on hotel room stay and not for breakfast or food (as i checked out early for Spirit of Tasmania before breakfast)

My experience: Stayed their for 1 night check in @ 7pm and checkout @6: 40am.

I was pretty impressed when i entered my room as the room was really cheap and facilities provided with the room were amazing and it was 3 mins away from SOT, since i checked in at 7 pm there was no option for food provided by hotel so i had no option but to do uber eats (cutlery was provided by hotel staff). Wifi speed was above average and had no problem watching Netflix in HD, also cable tv had some good option to watch. Coffee machine and coffee pods were provided inside a little cabinet along with tea bags and milk.
Extra pillows and blankets were already provided, iron stand and clothing iron was also available in room.
Toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and hair dryers were provided (no toothpaste or tooth brush were available even upon request).
Overall sunrise devonport gives far more value for money spent.
I would recommend this to anyone who is traveling from Spirit of Tasmania.

Decent rooms. Stayed here for a night. Friendly lady at the reception welcomes you. Breakfast is fine too.

Convenient to the Spirit of Tassie, nice clean rooms, breakfast included and friendly staff. Try to get a ground floor room as the stairs are fairly steep and not kind on dodgy knees.

Easy ground floor access as I'm confined to a manual wheelchair for mobility, always accommodating when I want to stay. Have stayed here numerous times and will continue.

We made a booking last minute on Christmas Day. From Melbourne. Lovely staff, clean and any facility you could need. Yummy breakfast included. Will definitely be the first place we look at to stay next time

Surprising good place for a good stay with free parking. The wifi is very fast and the even have coffee capsule machine (with capsules of course) and simple breakfast! Will surely come again if I come back to tasmania again. They even have this pancake making machine.so loving it.

I messed up with the booking but they were happy to accommodate me. Room was very clean and well priced. The nespresso coffee machine in the room was a nice touch, with coffee pods supplied. The free continental breakfast was very good. If I come back to Davenport I will definitely be stopping here again.
