27 After reading other reviews, I wish I did it before booking as it seems a lot of people found the same thing… read the policy closely about noise (which I didn’t do) If you wish to sleep, and especially staying between Friday - Sunday stay somewhere else.
I believe the room number was 303 2 bedroom apartment. It is right next to a pub/club and it PUMPS till either 2am or 5am. We have a 2 year old and no sleep was had by anyone. Lights in the hallways come on all night long. Parking is terrible and no structure to how it’s organised. So you end up on the street parking. Room is clean, but very dated.
I tried to call at night when the lights would not go out, to no answer.
On check out I passed on this information, all I got was a blank stare and told they are aware……. Guessing my fault for not reading the policy.
Great location if you there to party I guess it’s a good spot.
We stayed recently in a one bedroom apartment on Morrison street Hobart. Had a very comfortable stay with all the necessary ammenities being provided. Would have preferred a bit of view and the exhaust fan in bathroom wasn’t working every time. My husband also complained about a little noice disturbance at night but my sleep wasn’t disturbed at all. They do supply ear plugs though in case anyone needs to use. We didn’t need to use them. Other than that everything else was perfect. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
The check in was a little tricky because we were new to the area and not familiar with the streets so struggled a little to locate the main office location but once we got it, it was smooth. The fast checkout method was very helpful.
The apartment was spacious and clean. Definitely met my expectations.
Parking: there’s free street parking after 5PM only but we booked the apartment parking which was secure for $10 per night.
Fantastic location, right on the wharf and very close to 2 of the most popular restaurants in Hobart. Also a short 15 minute walk to the Salamanca area and the CBD.
Accomodation (2 bed / 2 bath) was huge and clean and well-equipped.
Reception is not 24x7 but out of hours key pick up was seamless.
We had girls weekend and couldn’t have been happier. Lovely well finished apartments made even cosier by a Michelle’s help and restaurant recommendations.
Second visit and a great location with exceptional standard of accommodation and amenities. Everything in Hobart is an easy walk, and the views over Constitution Dock to Mount Wellington are ever changing.
Rooms starting to look dated. Lots of light at night, beds okay but not the best. Only one tv. Spacious and great location.

Well appointed very central if you like walking! Everything we needed was available for 6 people for 3 nites!
We stayed at south st apartment.we had 3 couples it was very clean and spacious loved that we had 3 bathrooms. Highly recommended.only down side was parking but reception helped us out.great service.
We stayed at the IXL 2 bedroom executive apartment, and I have to say it was wonderful the apartment was lovely great amount of space for 4 people. Our after hours check in was seamless and the location of the apartment was fantastic, close to everything looking forward to staying there again.
The rooms are large and clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
I should have read their policy properly about noise coming from other rooms and outside bar/restaurant noises. Do NOT stay at Gibson's Mill if you want quiet nights. Stayed in room 101 for 2 nights then 103 the last night. Both on the same side bottom level. Midweek. The noises coming from front doors slamming garage door opening and closing and other apartment noise above was rediculous. Room 103 is right next to exhaust fans from bar restaurants. It is 2.45am and the noise is crazy.
There are far better places to stay than here!
Located very next to the pier, they offered one of the best service apartments. This review is for our stay at Gibson’s Mill Apartments - it is one of the buildings under them. They excelled in everything; starting from the receptionist - amiable and patiently answered all our questions. We had a very engaging conversation with her regarding the restaurants and places to see. The building they made us stay was very conveniently located to the pier, right opposite to the MONA ferry building.
We got a loft, two bedroom room. Fitted with toiletries by Loccitane to the best appliances in the kitchen. They even had a towel warmer - caught me by surprise. The place was huge, we could easily throw a party. A lot of towels at the washroom and even in the bedroom wardrobe. Watch out for the steps as it can be a bit slippery especially if you wear the house slippers. The fully functional kitchen makes it ideal for every occasion whether it’s heating up the takeaway food or cooking a late night food after a drunken night. My pictures will describe this place better than the review. Loved the stay.

Fantastic stay in a very large, clean and mody 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Michelle in reception was absolutely lovely and made us feel like we were being welcomed into her own home. The location is great. All up, a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for serviced apartments in Hobart. Excellent!
Great location with views over rooftops to Salamanca and the harbour. Very modern and spacious with all facilities. IXL penthouse 501 was excellent with 180°views but enjoyment of the master suit was spoilt by very uncomfortable single beds pushed together. Would expect a quality king bed when paying for a luxury penthouse!
The Sullivan’s Cove Apartments had amazing service and the staff were very responsive, helpful and genuine with any enquires. We were given a free upgrade which boosted our already fantastic accommodation. Special thanks to the manager Alison for going above and beyond, highly recommend and give a 5/5 rating.
Extremely happy with our apartment. It was massive, so nice and great view. Would highly recommend and would stay again!
Very happy 2 bedroom apartment. Especially the 2nd bedroom is upstairs, this also comes with its own bathroom.
The shower has shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Plenty of towels provided.
Very clean, very well presented.
This has reverse cycle heating and cooling in the upstairs room.
Overall very happy. 10/10
