The property and hosts were fantastic. To begin with there was an extremely warm welcome from the hosts, giving us a detailed overview of the property and surrounding attractions.

The room itself was amazing, the cleanliness, the facilities and the view from both the room and the private balcony. During the day there was a fantastic view out across the bay and during the evening the sunset was amazing with the wallabies grazing out in the garden.

The breakfast had plenty of options to choose from, all of them tasting great!

I will definitely be recommending Storm Bay B&B to friends and family, as it is as good as it gets.

My partner and I stayed here as we booked last minute due to the change of weather when were going camping, and our stay was absolutely sensational! Sylvia and Dave are such a lovely couple who were so warm and welcoming to us when we arrived. The room was immaculate - king size bed and a t.v with Netflix, all accompanied by a big spa bath which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Breakfast was supplied in the morning with eggs, bacon, fried mushrooms and tomato’s, as well as their own home made warm bread and home made jams, so delicious!

Dave and Sylvia offered us great advice in regards to good fishing spots and walks/sites to see.

We would 100% recommended staying at Storm Bay B&B whether you’re travelling or a local! We will be back again:)

David and Sylvia were amazing hosts and showed us amazing hospitality. Their house is wonderful and has stunning views of the water. The breakfast they made us was delicious and we had a wide range of things to choose from. We absolutely loved our time there and would recommend to our friends and family to stay there too.

It is just the best place we have ever stayed. They are 10/10 in everything! Just love it! The only thing is that make sure you stay for more than 3 days, there are so much to do around the area and just having a day or two to relax around the house, it really is worth!

Wonderful place, Sylvia and David are lovely hosts. The rooms are well kept, (recently renewed) comfortable, cosy and with a great view of the bay, mountains and a stunning sunset. Lots of nature to see from the balcony too.
The breakfast was great, we only stayed the one night, but apparently if you stay for two, you get waffles on the second morning:)

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! Fresh bread, homemade jams and yoghurt, various cooked options.it was hard to not have a bit of everything I'm now dreaming of my next trip to the peninsula, just so I can stay at Storm Bay again!

Great sunset & sunrise in an excellent B&B

S43°6.718' E147°44.492' White Beach (290 inhabitants) is a cute holiday enclave about 6km southwest of Nubeena. There is a supermarket and a few restaurants in town. The main things to do around Nubeena are swimming and chilling out on nearby White Beach, or fishing from the jetty or foreshore. It is a convenient 15 minutes’ drive to Port Arthur. When we determined that Storm Bay B&B had the best value for money around Port Arthur, we contacted the owners by e-mail and made a direct reservation avoiding the high fees of internet travel agencies. We paid $175 per night.

In February of 2020, we stayed in the Protea room on the lower floor of this guest house. The owners renamed the guesthouse to B&B, because you stay with a family that offers bed and breakfast and it is not a separate house for guests like a self-contained house. The view from the bedroom and private balcony was beautiful. The room had a double bed with electric blanket, which slept excellent, a large bathroom with jacuzzi, television, 5G Wi-Fi reception and heating.

Silvia & David have earned their mark in the hospitality industry. They took over this B&B a couple of years ago. They themselves are enthusiastic travellers and know what a pleasant stay is all about. Every detail is thoroughly addressed, but they excel in the personal though. It starts with their welcome: they know your name, invite you in their home, make you feel comfortable and answer every question. Home away from home.

Breakfast is served at the communal dining table in the kitchen to encourage interaction between guests and hosts. Not for the solitary traveller with earphones hiding behind a smartphone. Breakfast is delicious with homemade bread, eggs & bacon, yoghurt and homemade jam, juice, coffee and tea. Just ask and they will prepare it for you.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Storm Bay B&B. Silvia & David are special hosts. The breakfast was great and the sunset and sunrise was fabulous. Highly recommended.

Best hosts and accommodation ever! My six friends and I stayed at Storm Bay B&B for 3 days in early February at the beginning of our trip around Tasmania. We had the best time! It set the bar way too high for the rest of the trip! The hosts are incredibly well organized, interesting, kind, thoughtful and fun! The house is beautiful, well maintained and clean. The food was excellent, especially the homemade yogurt. We got to watch walabies, birds and reptiles from the deck and gardens. It's a short walk or super short drive to the squeeky white beach for strolls. Conveniently central to all the best parts of the peninsula. If you're visiting the Tasman peninsula, and you want to enjoy some genuine hospitality, stay here. I found it particularly ideal for our group because we all got to stay together but had plenty of privacy. It would be great for couples, singles and families too.

Absolutely loving hosts from A to Z! We instantly regretted to only stay one night. If you are in the area, that‘s the place to stay.
