We only stayed a night so we could explore Port Arthur (10 min drive!) and the surrounding area and wish we could have stayed longer. Sylvia and Dave have a passion for hosting, they have included all the personal touches that make a room more like a home. We stayed in Acacia room which was spacious, with a private balcony and entrace (as we booked a ghost tour that finished quite late it was nice not worrying about stomping through the house while others were trying to sleep). The view was incredible, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast delicious. We spent most of our time out exploring but wish we could have used all the amentities offered to us at this wonderful B&B. Highly recommend if you're considering staying in the area!

The hospitality from Sylvia and David is off the charts! From the warm welcome on arrival, adapting to guests (immedtiately suggesting a more accessible room over the planned room watching one of us being less mobile), to the excessive breakfast facilities with a huge variety of home made (some even home grown) products and cooked meals to all our liking. The rooms are spacious, have a private deck looking out over the valley and the ocean behind it. All details were thought through, like dimmable bed lights with 2USB charging ports on each side of the bed, a little motion activated LED in the bathroom so you don't have to turn on the big light. Absolutely lovely to stay here and we would recommend any traveller who appreciates this kind of hospitality to stay here. Thanks Silvia and David!

We recently stayed here, Sylvia and David made us feel very welcome. Their knowledge of the local area is exceptional. Breakfast was divine, fresh homemade bread and jams as well as hot options. Super comfy beds and modern ensuite. Highly recommend stopping in here on you next stop on the Tasman Peninsula!

Sylvia and Dave are the nicest of hosts, everything was just perfect in the room. The fragrance of fresh bread in the breakfast room, homemade jams, marmalade and chutneys reminded me of home. The property is located in a very nice location to catch the southern lights (aurora australis). It is close to multiple beautiful beaches, has a very good view of multiple bays and the hospitality of the hosts makes it just perfect. It was like I was visiting family.

Amazing location, hosts are very friendly and personally cook you breakfast with homemade jams/bread/practically everything. Very accommodating, and the view was emaculate. Magical sunset at white beach. Felt like being in my own home. Extra perk was the recliner chairs. Wish could have stayed longer!

Storm Bay Bed and Breakfast is the dream getaway for any traveller.
We arrived after dark, wound up a dirt track (dodging pademelons, wallabies and possums!) to be warmly greeted by hosts Silvia and Dave. We settled by the roaring fire and immediately felt at home.
After a great night’s sleep, we woke up to a magical view of the bay, and made our way to breakfast - the most amazing breakfast you could ever imagine - freshly cooked bacon & eggs, homemade bread, jams and yogurt. We had a delightful morning perusing the Sunday Port Arthur markets and visited the historic site, before setting out to walk the 4hr Cape Raoul trail with its epic cliff views! (All great recommendations by Dave & Silvia).
That evening we cooked dinner on the b&b barbecue and spent the evening with our hosts - by the end of the night we felt like old friends!
All in all our stay was very memorable, and we will definitely be coming back on our next Tassie holiday! Highly recommend:)

We had a lovely three night stay at Storm Bay B&B. David and Sylvia are really the most excellent hosts. They seem to have a knack of being warm, welcoming, yet not overbearing or intrusive.
The home itself is very warm and comfortable. Our room (Acacia) was well appointed with a super comfy bed and pillows.
The view from just about every window is picture perfect.
The best bit for us was the breakfasts - hot, ample and cooked to order.
We couldn't speak more highly of our stay.

Oh my goodness the views! And what a warm welcome from our hosts, Sylvia and David.
A very inviting aroma wafted through the b&b Sylvia had made a freshly baked slice for us to enjoy.
Our spacious room with large comfortable bed, modern ensuite, so perfect. Especially enjoyed the cosy recliners to relax in the evening in our room, either to read or watch tv.
The seating on the verandah is comfy and incredible views! The garden terrace with pond and water feature lends to a peaceful feeling.
Our hosts cooked a hearty delicious breakfast with home made jams and homemade fresh bread.
We enjoyed chatting over breakfast with them and learning about their friendly community.
Thanks Sylvia and David for your warm hospitality!
We look forward to returning next time we're in that part of Tassie

An amazing view at a cute and quiet b&b.

Our hosts Sylvia and David were more than welcoming and such a lovely couple will make you feel right at home.

The rooms and amenities are updated and modern. And you won't want to miss out on breakfast!

We're definitely coming back here when we visit next

Lovely location, very convenient for Port Arthur and the national park.

Rooms were well appointed and clean as a whistle with a scrumptious breakfast served.

Hosts were fantastic, only regret was we had already booked dinner as I suspect Dave and Sylvia would have had some great suggestions.

Definately try and stay here again when next in the area.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying here for 3 nights in March 2021. Sylvia and Dave are the most amazing hosts, taking care of every little detail.

During my stay, I felt totally spoilt and catered too.

The location of the B&B is perched high on a hill with stunning views over the bay in two directions and the most amazing sunsets!

No detail is overlooked. The gardens are just lovely with Sylvia’s mosaic pieces everywhere and Dave’s handy work is also on display around the property.

The personal attention provided by Sylvia and Dave is commendable from making sure that guests are catered to for dinner including recommending local restaurants and booking reservations as well as taking the time to find out what guests are interested in doing and then making recommendations in relation to places to visit in the local area.

Each morning guests wake to the smell of freshly baked bread and are offered homemade fruit and yoghurt bowls along with homemade jams and spreads, freshly cooked hot breakfast or waffles.

The accommodation in terms of cleanliness and comfort was outstanding. You will not be disappointed.

Well done Sylvia and Dave! You have a beautiful home so thank-you for sharing it! I’ll be back!

Absolutely gorgeous views and the hosts were so lovely. We stayed in the Banksia room which has its own entrance and the bed was super comfortable. Wish we stayed for longer to enjoy the homemade bread and jams!
