Stanley Cabin & Tourist Park

Well run caravan park on the beachfront in Strahan. Easy walk in to town. Well stocked supermarket (with takeaway section) next door to park entrance. Amenities were very clean, little extras like the single use foot towels for the showers were great. Cleanest camp kitchen I’ve ever used and very well equipped with cooking utensils. We were lucky to have a sheltered site backing on to the beach - we could hear (and see) penguins at night. Stayed four nights, could have stayed longer. Will definitely return.

What a beautiful park. Friendly people to help you with whatever you need. The amenities are amongst the best I have seen. The park is a gem and would certainly stay there again.

Everything was great at this hotel. Amazing staff that is friendly and makes customers feel welcome. Fiona is an amazing person, thank you for your patience and help. I hope to return again.

I think this may have been the best caravan park we stayed at our entire trip around Tassie! Bathrooms were new and clean, even had the radio playing which was nicer than hearing someone else poop. They had a special little bathroom for babies which was great for us! It was freezing cold so the regular bathrooms made my son really cold due to draughts. The baby bathroom was properly sealed, had heated lights and a bathtub so my son could warm up in a nice hot bath! Beautiful location too.

Beautiful location, Stanley is a quaint little town full of history. The campsite was clean, great new bathrooms immaculate and floor mats provided for use in the showers. Beach front. Highly recommended

I was disappointed to find in the fine print no disposal of grey water on site.
There was no provision on site to dispose of the grey water either. Only 2 washing machines plenty of driers. Expensive for services provided

The cabins are well equipped and suited for us for the night. The bed was nice and comfortable. Clean crisp linen and the cabin was lovely and clean. Only down fall was a couple of hairs in the shower and some eyelashes BUT over all it was warm when we rocked up in the cabin. Heater going and lovely. Will def be back again. The ladies in reception are so friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area. So much info in the office about things to do and see. Laundry facilities and a great bunch of people that are so friendly and welcoming to have get togethers for bbq or drinks. If your looking for a cheap but comfy place to stay do call and book as they book out fast. It doesn't need to be the Ritz it's pretty much just a bed for the night. DVD in the room and tv for kids. Just an over all great place to stay.

The friendly staff was superb. Large motorhome site. Extremely clean at toilet, laundry and kitchen. I can’t say anything but give a 5 star!

For a caravan and cabin accomodation it ranks with me. Staff are friendly and it backs directly onto the beach, the pub and restaurant is less than 50 meters away and the general store is next door.
Good spot to use as a base to explore the area.

Excellent location, friendly staff, clean and modern facilities. They have a great laundry and even have a great kids bathroom which was the best place to bath our 10 month old on our whole trip (even fitted with a heat lamp). The showers have extra towels to use on the floor when you step out. Penguins come in and out right at the park too. Highly recommend.

Nice park, very well positioned. Clean and tidy. Unfortunately we booked a powered site and ended up unpowered.

Prime accommodation to cater for individuals, and families as well. Option to view baby penguins at night or just unwind in a peaceful environment

Stayed in the midrange cabin and really liked it. Has everything you need, and is in walking distance to pretty much all of the main Street and a supermarket. Reception lovely. Only criticism was the dirty cups in the cabin.

Had a lovely time, simple, clean, good help from the reception during our stay, very close to town and all you want to see in Stanley.

Right on the water, magnificent photos, close proximity to all amenities. Nice hot shower very comfortable bed & super staff only too willing to help. The only drawback is the bedside lighting, ok, if you want to squat to adjust or plug in your light or put on the electric blanket, but when you cant its an absolute nightmare

Great location and very helpful staff. When there was a mix up with my booking (possibly my fault) they went out of their way to help. Excellent cabins and amenities and great for kids.
