Spring Bay Hotel

Our group had the grilled octopus, home made osso bucco, chicken parmigiana, really generous pork chops. All superb! Well worth the stop!

Only used the free overnight spot, but very thankfully to the hotel for providing this. You rock!

Great venue, good service and general hospitality, staff is great and good food also, would recommend a visit, one of the the best old pubs probably in the country, they do still exist

Can't recommend the food here enough! Serving one of the best parmis I've had and a menu with more than just your average pub feed. Try the duck bao buns!

Let me start by saying the service was great and we couldn't fault it but the decor - Well it's just a very dated old pub but without the charm it could potentially have with some TLC. As for the food, I had a $30+ steak that was extremely chewy and not enjoyable at all. Others had the parmi and the kids schnitzel, both overlooked and dry. Unfortunately I felt the food was very basic and overpriced. I wouldn't return.

I booked a table for a Saturday evening meal, and had no real expectations, however was intrigued by the Woody 600gm scotch fillet on the website menu. On entering I found a welcoming pub atmosphere, and a reserved table with my name. After browsing a good honest pub menu I ordered a medium rare Woody with pepper sauce, my partner, the Veal Scallopini. Both meals excellent in taste and presentation. My steak done to perfection and accompanied by chips and and an amazing salad. My sampling of the veal left me wanting more. Great friendly service and an excellent meal. It is an amazing place with wonderful staff and great food. Recommend Springbay to anyone visiting Triabunna, this is a great place for a beverage and feed. You'll also have a awesome time with locals

If you want food poisoning then this is the place for you. With an unqualified chef and a manager that doesn't seem to care that his chef is serving death on a plate. I recommend you stay well enough away from this death dealer.

Had an excellent lunch break on our drive up the east coast. Food was delicious and well priced. Try the squid.so tender. Will definitely return. Need to try the gummy with crispy chips; the batter looked so good! Lovely old hotel with friendly people. We felt very welcome.

Excellent stop over so close to town. The pub meals are great too. Nice and close to walk to the marina. Good place to drop a line and catch dinner. We did. You can see the cheeky seal swimming around and some river rats too. Lots of food options. Cafes. Ice cream outlet and paddys potatoes too.

We camped here for 2 nights whilst visiting Maria island. We were made to feel really welcome by the owners - so friendly and kind. We went to the pub for the first night for drinks - a local musician was playing and there was a great atmosphere!

The next night we returned for dinner, we had the woody and the lamb shank. It was delicious!

A lovely pub with great food, friendly staff and in a perfect location.

Great classic local pub, free camping right behind for travellers with all facilities close by provided by local informazion service. Perfect for Maria Island ferry. Leave a donation to local charities inside as a well deserved thank you!

Good spot for cyclist. Free camping behind the Pub. Toiletts over the road. At the visitor center is a warm shower for 4 dollar. It closed at 5.30pm. Supermarket not far. Good grass for the Tent. Go in the Pub for some beer, it's amazing. Verry helpful and friendly People.

Where I come from Ketchup is a basic human right. Thank you for having it and Tartar Sauce readily available.

Good meals atmosphere beer aand free camping. Does not get better. Owners great friendly people.

Only popped in to buy a couple of bottles of wine to take to the Island. Friendly service helped me choose, and prices were very good
