Spring Bay Hotel reviews
38Absolute classic rural Aussie pub. Great yarns & staff are awesome + welcoming. Cold beers & hot chips. Thanks!
Reviewed for the restaurant. Very good pub-style food. Good beer selection. Nice friendly atmosphere. Cosy on a cold evening with open fire.
Sad to say ordered three wines and a lemon lime and bitters the wine was off no one drank theirs 37 dollars for rancid wine and a lemon lime and bitters.not happy
Camped behind the hotel. No showers there any more, but toilets nearby and sources of water. Very convenient.
We stayed in our motorhome in the back paddock and came in for dinner. Really nice cozy place with welcoming and helpful staff. Very affordable meal and kid friendly. Worth a visit. Beautiful little town.
The food here was really yummy and you can tell why they get so busy.
The staff were really friendly and super accommodating to dietary requests.
There was also lots of gluten free options on the menu to choose from. Reccomend trying to book a table.
Quite disappointed after seeing good reviews, I ordered the main course of Smoked salmon salad for 20$ and came a super small portion….
Classic unassuming coastal town pub, no frills but great food with quality ingredients plus a surprisingly diverse menu of options. The fireplace added great atmosphere and was perfect for the cold night. Staff where also lovely. This was a great pit stop for a hot pub feed dinner.
Great hospitality at a reasonable price. Great location just opposite the marina and ferry to Maria Island.
Great country pub. The food was fantastic and you could not find nicer hosts. The beer was cold and the staff were excellent with the drink and food service. Cheap camping out the back with a donation to the fire brigade the only expectation.
Restaurant review only. Staff were lovely and helpful. Great vibes. Could have been more veggie options but grateful for what they had.
We had dinner at Spring Bay Hotel two successive nights. The food was lovely, well-cooked and tasty. An interesting menu, pub grub staples plus a touch of difference (goat curry, panko crumbed pork with Japanese curry sauce & rice - yum). The service was as friendly as you could hope for. The wines were excellent. Well worth a visit.
The food is delicious and the service very friendly. We took advantage of the free camping facilities out the rear of hotel. Toilet on the dock and showers at the laundromat down the block.
Whst a lovely hotel! When we arrived in Triabunna we popped in to check the menu and were impressed with the variety.
After riding around Maria Island the next day, we had a delicious grilled octopus and lamb shanks with veggies. The staff and atmosphere was friendly and fun. Congratulations to the chef and everyone. Thank you.
Had a great meal there on Saturday. All three meals were excellent. Loved the “gummy”, chips and salad. The two meals of curried scallops and rice were “yummy” Quite a varied menu. Love the “old fashioned” pub atmosphere. Staff very friendly.
Very friendly helpful staff. A nice budget place to stay before going to Maria Island. Our room was basic but clean with shared amenities & the tariff even included a light breakfast
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and goat curry to die for.
The veal scallopini was also delicious and very tender.
Stopped for some drinks and dinner after a trip to Maria Island. Lovely warm and welcoming staff and absolutely amazing salt and pepper squid and lamb shank.
Great food and warm, welcoming staff. Comfortable room in a homely, old-school country pub. Great value rates.
Traditional pub accommodation with shared bathrooms and lounge but very comfortable and homely. Best located accommodation in Triabunna being right opposite the Maria Island ferry berth. Would not stay anywhere else either in Triabunna or Orford.
