Shoreline Hotel

This is my latest local, and I must say I love that they catered for vegans/vegetatians and had some non-alcoholic beer too. Friendly staff, and a top notch pub food menu. Will be back again!

Wife and I had lunch today, both meals were excellent as was the service

Great place, very good service and a fire place to boot. Good for when you come from Mackay to visit Tassie in winter

Lunch was pretty ordinary $22 for a porterhouse very thin, very grisly, came with chips & slaw, also ordinary

Went into the cafe bar to withdraw $200 the lady said it did not go through. I checked my account in front of the lady and showed her that the $200 did in fact come out, she said there was nothing she could do as the till drawer did not open so she would not give me my money. She said that the same thing had happened a couple of days ago but the money went straight back into that persons account. She said to wait 24hours and the money would be returned to my account, her words were trust me it will. Anyway because she said that i withdrew another $200 which she gave to me. I called them the next day to say the money was not back in my account they asked me to send a copy, of the double transaction and they would sort it out for me. I rang them back 2 hours after they received the email from me and now they tell me there is nothing they can do about until Monday. Today is Friday. It is not good enough that they have my money and will not return it like they said within 24 hours.

Couldn't fault it. Went in for a bite after a committee meeting, great staff, great food and lovely atmosphere.

Shoreline Hotel is a great place to stay, friendly, helpful staff, great food with plenty of choice, central to the Eastern Shore with only 10 minutes into the city via the highway. The rooms could do with an update, although they're clean and tidy and surprisingly quiet

Beautiful, modern and clean, with friendly staff, everybody else loved their meals, however being gluten intolerant I had limited options. I chose the fish and chips, but the fish had obviously been frozen and didn't taste at all like flathead, in fact the taste was so revolting I couldn't even force it down smothered in tartare. So I basically paid $28.for a plate of chips and felt slightly off in the stomach for the rest of the evening. Unfortunately, I'm not keen to return.

Smiling faces with genuine welcomes as you take lunch and a drink with friends. Every part of this location takes covid safety guidelines seriously without feeling intrusive.

Guinness Pot Pie was very tasty however gravy was far too runny and a spoon was offered when the meat and mushrooms had already been eaten. Everything else was good. Great prices and very large servings.

Impeccable and friendly service; felt welcomed in for a classic pub style lunch. We will be back!

Due to another venue not able to hold my father's 80th birthday lunch just the day before the event, I rang at 4pm on the Saturday afternoon and Teegan was wonderful in accommodating our party of 24 people. We were given a private section and it was great. Wonderful helpful staff, meals were delicious, reasonable prices, and they cater for everyone.it all worked out better than I could've imagined. Thankyou so much.

This is one of our favorite places to go. Great also for spending time with friends and it has 3 different types of eating experiences. Great place to sit and enjoy great food and drink. Have found all the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly.

Lovely service and tasty food - we had the duck breast and chicken schnitzel. The chicken was a decent serving size but the duck could have had more sauce and a couple more pieces. Also the bread platter was a bit small for what you pay and food took a while to come out, but delicious and fresh and would go back!

Really nice hotel, very good rooms. Clean, tidy at a good rate. Plenty of choices for eating options.

Only bad this about this place is the manager. He has a serious attitude problem. Has total respect for the staff. Staff is actually amazing and so helpful. Shoreline get your act together and get a manager that knows how to talk to people and respect his workers

We had a good night out. My only complaint is steaks only come with one side. So then you need to order an extra side which makes it an expensive plate. That aside it was all delicious.

It was good u get everything to cook tea glasses plates elec blanket fish shop down the road u can walk it cheap too
