Shoreline Hotel

Great food and service. The kids love that there is a small playground to keep them entertained while us adults are finishing our meals.

We enjoyed a family gathering recently at Shoreline. There were ten of us including small children. The service from the staff was very good, the food just what you’d wish for at a good hotel, and the venue itself was perfect for all age groups. Thank you Shoreline for a memorable evening.

Beautiful atmosphere, have not been since renovations and it is absolutely beautiful!

Went to the restuarant for lunch on Sunday. Won't go into details but definitely would not recommend.

The food wasn't too bad. It was the perfect size. Our friends had the 1.5 kilo lamb & that looked fantastic & smelt beautiful

First time visiting the Shoreline, had heard good things about it and wasn’t disappointed. Very nice place to go for a meal with friends, the menu had plenty of delicious options. I only visited the dining room area and was very impressed. Will be going back again

The Shoreline Bottleshop attempted to over-charge me $4 on my purchase, accused me of theft and harassed me and, in addition to this ill treatment sold me faulty product being two cans of Ned Whisky and Cola 6% that were not sealed properly. This is a potential health issue due to the presence of bacteria.
Congratulations Shoreline on the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. I have travelled to tough parts of South Africa and had the natives treat me better than your business.
People, save time, money and stress and purchase at 9/11 Waterfront, 9/11 Shoreline, Porters on Clarence Street, BWS Eastlands, or Dan Murphy's in Percy Street for traditional, helpful and polite customer service.

Visited the dinning room. Will never
Return. Went in a party of four, two meals had to be sent back. Chicken schnitzel was bought out instead of plant based. Mashed potato without vegetables was asked to accompany another meal, mashed sweet potato was bought out, after it was sent back they came back to us to report they didn't have any ordinary mashed potato, only sweet potato, something they could have said when the order was put in. We all found ouf chips dry, tasteless and definitely over cooked. All salads were with extremely minimal dressing, slaw tasted like plain cabbage! I rang to complain, spoke to senior member of staff because manager was not available. He apologise, agreed these things shouldn't happen but made no offer of recompense or to say anything would be done about it. As a business owner myself, I don't like reviews like this one without an opportunity to fix the problem. I offered that opportunity but it wasn't taken up by them.
Very poor management, even worse service

I was impressed with this restaurant. The venue was bigger than expected and had a number of dining options. The Dining Room was really well appointed, modern and classy. The menu was expansive with lots of options, including a great range of parmi's and pizza's. Our whole party enjoyed their food - I had the risotto, which was yum. I got a Bombe Alaska, which was tasty but quite small with a disappointingly little amount of meringue - but not so much that I'd knock off a star. The 5 star rating is not just about the food, this place marries good food, good atmosphere and good service really well and isn't too expensive. Great family restaurant.

Wouldn't recommend, whilst the staff were lovely, booked 12 months in advance for my father in laws 80th birthday, no table service for drinks, had to ask for adequate cutlery, kicked us out 30 mins before close, table of 24 many $$$ spent didn't seem to matter to them even though we were a clean, unobtrusive bunch. On the upside food was good.

Food was terrible!
Service was poor to say the least.
Waited over an hour for meals, including the kids. Adults meals started coming out before the kids meals.
Nothing good to say, will not be coming back.

I always sit and work here. It gets busy over brunch and lunch times, bit staff is friendly and the food, especially the arancini balls, is great.

Staff great had mushroom coquets for entrees duck for main both were very good pana cotta for desert I would nit recommend it was runny in middle to much garnish

Great food and wine, someone needs to train the front of house staff. Waitress was good but everyone else needs to learn how do do their job.

Wouldnt give my 5 year old cousin a beer even though he was a paying customer.not acceptable.
