Mid Week Box meal was very reasonably priced. Very filling. And super tasty. Highly recommend their fried chicken. Very friendly staff.

Great place! Funky atmosphere, like an industrial chic meets New Orleans cocktail bar. I had a chicken burger, and it was excellent! The dynamite sauce packs a punch, and the pickles are on point. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious in their own right, and put together they were perfect!

The booze is pretty good too. I got a Rude Boy larger to start, and a Brooklyn cocktail (their take on a classic Manhattan), both were great. I would definitely go back

Really awesome place that has cool vibes, awesome staff members and the food is something special. Always consistent and spot on every time I've gone in and this will be a regular place to come for dinner. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a great night out!

Turned me on to an absolutely awesome vodka, "Bread Vodka", made locally by ENDANGERED Distilling Co.from.you guessed it, bread! Not only is it completely smooth and flavour-some, it is made from unused bread! Thank you for respecting the planet and our finite resources, you have engineered the best vodka I've ever tasted!

Thanks Etienne, for your knowledge and devotion to your occupation, you are a credit to the industry, and I very much look forward to experiencing more varieties of all of your top shelf spirits, (whatever shelf they are located on), another time, sooner rather than later.

I will absolutely recommend this venue to everyone, and I will definitely be rallying up some friends to come along and enjoy this niche experience.

Staff were great. Bar staff very attentive. The food was awesome I had the chicken burger must say it's the best I've had. I also had a non alcoholic drink on tap which was pretty cool. It was some kind of tropical juice or something the guy gave me a taste test of a few because I wasn't sure about how it was going to taste out of the tap. He completely sold me and it was really good. Can't fault great work guys will def be back!

Delicious! Awesome! I took what I thought would be a risk at a place that clearly specialised in chicken and got the beef brisket, but it was delicious. The chips were properly crispy, the BBQ sauce was excellent and I even liked the coleslaw, which is not usually something I eat. They also have an extensive and tasty drinks menu, naturally centred around rum, but with lots of variety to choose from. Last but not least, the staff were super friendly and helpful. A great place for a meal, a snack or just a drink or two!

No you cannot come here as I want it for myself. It was the best chicken I have had ever.

Then the service. Awesome. From the greeting to I assume the payment as i am still here has been the best.

Nice atmosphere and solid service. Does suffer somewhat from being overly loud, but I Know a lot of people are into that, so, to each their own.

Had such a pleasant experience at Rude Boy! Not only were the food and drinks amazing but the service was as well! Special shout out to Nathan who looked after us on a girls night out!

Great venue, went for the "feed me" option where the waitress decides what to bring you based on an agreed price- was not disappointed! Delicious flavours, first time I've ever like kale in the vegetable dish and the chicken ribs are a must!

Rude Boy hosted the Australian final of the Stolen Rum competition last night. Great atmosphere and all the staff were amazing. 5 stars

The only problem with Rude Boy is that it's in Hobart. And I'm not.

Totally recommend the feed-me menu option. And any of the beverages.

This tropical themed bar is super fun, has some cracking cocktails (although there's beer and wine too) and a relaxed island vibe! Staff are super friendly and happy to give suggestions if the cocktail list spoils you for choice. Well worth a visit!

Lotsa fun, quite expensive, manager is fantastic! Staff can be sanctimonious. VERY expensive if you run a tab. Pay as you go is the BEST advice!

Amazing staff to compliment an amazing space. Quirky, tropical but most importantly is laid back and casual. Wide selection of speciality rums paired with a food menu that is just to die for.

This is the place you want to be when no where else feels right.

Not the cheapest, but certainly worth it.

Rude Boy is amazing. The atmosphere here is extremely welcoming and the staff friendly and happy to explain the joys of rum to the novice (and even the experienced rum traveller). Their rum flights are delicious and varied, and they are happy to make one on the fly to suit your tastes. Oh and the Cuban sandwiches and bammies are brilliant too!

Rowan is a fantastic bartender. He is attentive, creative and does it all with aire of ease.
This bar has a great atomasphere and it is made more enjoyable when Rowan is working.
His knowledge of alcohol, mixes and patrons palettes is second to none that I’ve experienced.
Highly highly recommend.
